Aero Accessories once again in sale process with Houlihan, sources say

Aero Accessories, a private components repair company, is once again working with financial advisor Houlihan Lokey on a potential sale, said two sources familiar with the matter.

Miramar, Florida-based Aero Accessories generates around USD 15m in EBITDA, the two sources said.

This news service reported in March 2020 that Aero Accessories was in the middle of a sale process after tabling initial bids. Houlihan was advising Aero Accessories at the time, as reported. The company received interest from strategics and private equity firms, it was further reported.

The process was shelved due to the coronavirus pandemic, which had a major effect on the aerospace industry, the two sources said. However, conditions have vastly improved due to an increase in consumer demand for air travel, they added.

Aero Accessories is expected to receive interest from strategics and private equity firms, the two sources said.

The company provides advanced repair services for fuel, hydraulic, pneumatic and electro-mechanical components.

Houlihan Lokey declined to comment. Aero Accessories did not return a request for comment.
