Elena Rubinov is Corporate Partner in Linklaters’ Corporate M&A team in New York.

She advises clients on mergers, acquisitions and private equity transactions across a variety of sectors, with a special focus on transactions in the energy, renewables and infrastructure sectors.

She advises public and private companies, including private equity and infrastructure funds and other investors, on corporate and business combination transactions such as mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, investments, co-investments, joint ventures, recapitalizations, restructurings, and bankruptcy sales.

She also advises clients on debt and corporate restructurings in connection with equity recapitalizations, rights offerings, and 363 sales and acquisitions.

Glenn Jacobson, Managing Partner of Greenbelt Capital Partners, has over 20 years of investment experience in the broad energy landscape, spanning roles at Trilantic Capital Partners and Lehman Brothers private equity, prior to the founding of Greenbelt.  Glenn started his career as an investment banker at Lehman Brothers, focusing on M&A and capital markets transactions in the energy sector. Glenn holds a B.A., cum laude, in Economics from Dartmouth College.

Robert is a Managing Director and Co-Founder of GreenFront, where he leads transaction origination and execution across the renewable fuels sector and adjacent energy transition technologies. He specializes in complex M&A and structured capital solutions, with a focus on renewables, low-carbon fuels, and the service and equipment providers that underpin the decarbonization of the industrial economy.

Robert has executed a broad range of transactions involving cross-border strategic M&A, project finance, structured equity, and tax credit optimization. Prior to co-founding GreenFront, he was head of Energy Investment Banking at BB&T Capital Markets, where he led the firm’s advisory efforts across upstream, midstream, and clean energy markets. He began his career in J.P. Morgan’s Energy Investment Banking group, working on transactions across the international energy value chain.

Robert holds a Master of Business Administration from University of Virginia’s Darden School of Business and a Bachelor of Arts from Sewanee: The University of the South.

Dorian Hunt leads Leo Berwick’s Renewable Energy practice.

Dorian has 20 years of experience in tax credit monetization, with clients including renewable energy project developers, tax equity investors, project lenders, insurers and syndicators.

Prior to joining Leo Berwick, he was a leader in the Power and Utilities and Energy Transition practices of a Big 4 firm, where he focused on providing tax consulting services with respect to tax credit-driven project finance across, with a focus on renewable energy.

Dorian is a thought leader in the tax credit space and has authored articles on topics including the potential implications for “direct pay” of renewable energy tax incentives and on the impact of the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act on the US renewable energy industry. He has also presented on these and other similar topics for organizations such as IPED, NARUC, and the Boston Bar Association.

Dorian has experience with myriad energy incentive programs including Treasury 1603 grants, 48C advanced energy manufacturing studies, and the rapidly-developing field of 45Q carbon capture credits.

Darpan Kapadia joined LS Power in 2004 and serves as Chief Operating Officer.

Darpan is a member of the Firm’s Management Committee and Investment Committee, overseeing one of the largest power generation, transmission, and energy infrastructure companies in the United States. Prior to being named COO in 2017, Darpan was Head of Strategy for the Firm. Previously, Darpan was a Vice President at Goldman, Sachs & Co. in the Investment Management Division and prior to that, he was a Senior Consultant with PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP providing strategic and financial advisory services to corporations.

Darpan received a B.A. in Economics with Phi Beta Kappa honors from the College of William and Mary and an M.B.A. with highest distinction from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University.

Darpan is a member of the investment committees of Edge Principal Advisors, Verance Capital, and Marmora Capital, three LS Power affiliated companies that invest across real estate, sports, media and alternative investments. He also serves on the board of directors for electric vehicle charging company EVgo, renewables and energy storage platform REV Renewables, renewable, renewables company Clearlight Energy, and global risk management advisory firm K2 Integrity. He is also Chairman of the William and Mary Foundation Board of Trustees and a member of the Kellogg Private Equity Advisory Council. Furthermore, Darpan serves as a member of the Board of Leaders at the University of Southern California’s Marshall School of Business and the USC Marshall Business of Energy Initiative Advisory Council.

Nick Riva is a Principal on QIC’s Global Infrastructure team focused on its US Energy and Utilities portfolio. He is a board member of QIC’s portfolio companies CenTrio, a leading district energy and energy concessions provider, and Renewa, an innovative land-under-renewables platform.

Prior to joining QIC in 2023, Nick led financing activities for Alturus, an energy-as-service company developing energy and decarbonization solutions Fortune 500 clients. Before QIC, Nick held roles on GIP’s investment team focused on transportation and renewables and with UBS’s infrastructure team. Nick holds Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Civil Engineering from Stanford University.
