In our previous report, we highlighted that while the global pandemic impacted the representations & warranties insurance business, claims volume remained unaffected. However, we now see that the slowdown in deal placement in mid-2020 may have resulted in a delayed impact to claims volume in 2021.
In this year’s study, we continue to focus on representations & warranties claims, examining trends that are emerging with respect to claim size and frequency on policies placed between 2015-2021 in North America. In addition, we have gathered data from the Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) region to provide insights into that growing practice.
To help provide a full picture of the global transactions solutions industry, the report also includes examinations of Aon’s tax and international claims data, as well as a survey of insurers in the R&W space who were asked to share insights from their recent claims experiences.
