  • Allens claimed the top spot for the 1Q-3Q23 APAC (ex-Japan) Loans Borrower’s Legal Counsel League Table, followed by King & Wood Mallesons and Herbert Smith Freehills.
  • Ashurst took the top spot for the Lead Bank’s Legal Counsel League Table for 1Q-3Q23, followed by Linklaters and Allens

Debtwire volume and league tables cover primary loan transactions for companies whose operating risk is in Asia-Pacific ex-Japan. Only transactions denominated in G3 currencies, HKD, SGD, AUD, NZD, GBP, CAD, and CNH (offshore CNY) are included, unless otherwise specified. Loans volume and league tables include syndicated and club transactions and exclude bilaterals. Deal nationality is determined by location where majority of the guarantor’s operational revenue is generated. For un-guaranteed transactions, and deals guaranteed by ECAs, this would be determined by where the borrower’s operational revenue is generated.
