Frank Tang Chairman and CEO FOUNTAINVEST PARTNERS

Mr. Frank K. Tang is the Chairman and CEO of FountainVest Partners, a leading Asia-based private equity firm with offices in Hong Kong, Beijing, Frankfurt, Shanghai and Singapore. FountainVest actively invests in the consumer, healthcare, industrial and business service sectors.

Prior to co-founding FountainVest, Mr. Tang was with Temasek Holdings as Senior Managing Director, Investments & China, where he simultaneously headed China investments as well as global telecom, media and technology investments. As a member of the senior leadership team at Temasek, Mr. Tang sat on both firmwide Senior Management Committee and Senior Investment & Divestment Committee.

Mr. Tang worked at Goldman Sachs for nearly 11 years, he started there his investment banking career in New York, and then moved to Hong Kong. Mr. Tang also worked as an Executive Director in Principal Investment Area, the private equity arm of Goldman Sachs. He was later Managing Director and Head of Telecom, Media and Technology investment banking in Asia ex-Japan for Goldman Sachs prior to joining Temasek.

Mr. Tang is a board member of Amer Sports, Pure Fitness, BMTS, and previously served on the board of Accenture (Global Fortune 500), Key Safety System, IMAX China, Weibo, and Pacific Pension & Investment Institute among others. Mr. Tang has been a member of the World Economic Forum, a governor of the China Venture Capital and Private Equity Association, a trustee of Donghua University, and a board member of Columbia Business School’s Board of Overseers. He was born in Shanghai, and holds a bachelor’s degree from Donghua University in Shanghai and a MBA degree from Columbia Business School in New York.

Yar-Ping Soo Partner ADAMS STREET PARTNERS

Yar-Ping Soo is a Partner primarily specializing in Asian pan-regional leveraged buyouts as well as country focused funds, specifically in Greater China, Japan, Korea and Indonesia. She leads the Asian practice, and actively participates in all fund investment decisions at Adams Street and is responsible for managing relationships with several of Adams Street's managers. Ms. Soo is a member of the Adams Street Primary Investment Committee.

Prior to joining Adams Street, Yar-Ping was a Senior Vice President of GIC Special Investments (GICSI), which is the private equity arm of the Government of Singapore Investment Corporation. She spent more than a decade at GIC and worked in their New York, Redwood City and Singapore offices. Ms. Soo was the Head of Asia/Emerging Markets based out of Singapore, leading GICSI’s investments in leveraged buyout funds, growth capital funds and co-investments.

Ms. Soo is fluent in Mandarin, Cantonese, Hokkien and Malay.

Kok Yew Tang Chairman and Managing Partner AFFINITY EQUITY PARTNERS

Mr Tang is the Chairman and Managing Partner of Affinity Equity Partners following its spin-off from UBS in 2004. Prior to that, he was the Chairman of UBS Capital Asia Pacific, the private equity arm of UBS since 1999. Before UBS Capital, he was the Chief Executive for Investment Banking, East Asia at Union Bank of Switzerland since 1995. Following the merger of Union Bank of Switzerland and Swiss Bank Corporation to form UBS, Mr Tang became Chief Executive, Hong Kong, of UBS Group and Asia Regional Head of Investment Banking for UBS Investment Bank. Prior to Union Bank of Switzerland, he served as President and CEO of Banque Indosuez's Asian investment bank and Chairman of WI Carr (Far East) Limited, one of the leading stockbroking firms in Asia. Mr. Tang began his financial career with Chase Manhattan Bank. During his 17 years at Chase, he served in a number of senior roles in Malaysia and Hong Kong.

Lincoln Pan Partner and Co-Head of Private Equity PAG

Lincoln Pan is a Partner of PAG, a leading Asia-based alternative investment fund managing over US$50bn in capital. He is a co-head of the Private Equity strategy where he leads the non-China Investment Team and the Operations team and is a member of the Investment Review Committee.  He is also a member of the PAG Group Management Committee.

Lincoln has led work for many of PAG’s overseas investments, including Patties and Vesco, Cordina Foods, Unispace, Edelweiss Financial Group, Rex Airways, Acme Formulation, Gamot API, Craveable Brands, Joyson Safety Systems, Cushman & Wakefield, Lexmark International, Home Credit China, Fenix Technologies, Food Union Group, The Cheesecake Shop and Young Toys. He is on the public board of Cushman & Wakefield (NYSE: CWK) where he chairs the Nomination & Governance Committee and is a member of the Compensation Committee and Regional Express (ASX: REX) where he sits on the Audit Committee.

Prior to joining PAG, Lincoln was Regional CEO, Greater China for Willis Towers Watson. He previously worked with Advantage Partners, the leading private equity firm in Japan, GE Capital, McKinsey & Company and Simpson Thacher & Bartlett. Lincoln holds a JD from Harvard Law School and a BA from Williams College. He has previously qualified to practice law in the State of New York.

Puneet Bhatia Co-Managing Partner, Head of India TPG CAPITAL ASIA

Puneet Bhatia is Co-Managing Partner of TPG Capital Asia and Head of India. Prior to joining TPG in 2002, Puneet was the Chief Executive, Private Equity group, for GE India, and before that, a member of the Project and Corporate Finance group at ICICI Ltd. Puneet holds a B.Com Honors degree from Shri Ram College of Commerce, Delhi, and an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta.
