Dennis Wan is CDP’s Market Director for APAC (excluding China and Japan), with overarching responsibility for managing CDP’s strategic relationships with companies and financial institutions across the region. As part of CDP’s regional leadership team, he works with stakeholders to strengthen transparency and engagement with data disclosed through CDP, the global non-profit that runs the world’s largest independent environmental disclosure system.
After personally witnessing devastating U.S. forest fires in Summer 2021, Mr. Wan left a career in banking to join CDP. Prior to this, he spent 23 years with Credit Suisse across Tokyo, New York, and Singapore, rising from junior accountant to Chief Operating Officer in Hong Kong. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England & Wales.
Mervin has over 16 years of private equity, alternatives, and consulting experience. He was a founding member and Director of Quadria Capital, one of Asia’s largest private equity firms with over US$2.6 billion in assets under management, where he spent the last 10 years driving its Southeast Asia business. Previously, he spent 4 years across alternative investments and management consulting at Mizuho and PwC, respectively.
He holds a Master of Science in Applied Finance from Singapore Management University, Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Melbourne and completed the Mini MD executive education program at ESSEC Business School.
Kimberly is Managing Director and Head of Investments at GenZero. She oversees GenZero’s investments, and leads the firm's portfolio construction and investment strategy to achieve its dual goals of positive climate impact and long-term sustainable financial returns.
Prior to her appointment at GenZero, Kimberly spent twelve years at Temasek International, focusing on investments in the transportation and logistics sector where she helped to build a multi-billion global logistics portfolio. With a particular focus on China and Southeast Asia, she led deal origination and execution resulting in notable investments including LF Logistics and ZTO Express, market leaders in various parts of the ecommerce logistics value chain. She also played a key role in landmark transactions involving core Singapore transportation assets which required complex technical execution and broad-based stakeholder management.
Kimberly also developed and led a new mobility strategy to build exposure to the electrification and digitalisation of transportation, the enabling supply chain and supporting infrastructure. In terms of external appointments, K
imberly currently sits on the Board of South Pole and Velocys. She holds a MA in International and Development Economics from Yale University, and a BA and MA in Philosophy, Politics and Economics from Lincoln College, Oxford University.
