Japan Private Equity – a golden age?
Deal value reached JPY 4.7T and reinforced the long term upward and healthy trend that those on the ground feel every day. Take privates emerged as the largest sources of deals, following years of corporate governance improvements that enabled this. Bain’s presentation explores the state of the market and competition in the market, with attention to the drivers of Japan’s strong performance and how firms are coping with the disruptive change that AI is bringing: for diligence, for post-acquisition value creation, but also, in fund operations.
