Global outlook: Navigating (more) uncertainty
PE investors entered 2025 hoping more benign conditions might facilitate deal activity. These did not materialise, and the opening months of 2026 were marked by even more uncertainty, notably around artificial intelligence disruption and escalating tensions in the Middle East.
