Mr Sean K.(Seung Kul) Lee is a Senior Managing Director and Head of the Public market Division at KIC. In this role, he oversees Equity investment & Strategy group, Global Equity Investment group, Quant Equity investment group and Fixed Income group, totaling over US $190billion of assets under management. He joined KIC in 2010 and held a variety of investment and strategic roles. His previous responsibilities in KIC include head of Alternative Investment division, head of Investment Strategy & Innovation Division and head of Real Estate Group.
Mr. Lee has over 27 years of experience related to fixed income, asset allocation, infrastructure and real estate. Prior to joining KIC, he was head of product development team for IBK - Société Générale asset management where he initiated and launched various global products such as Market neutral strategy, India Infrastructure and Gold Mining equity fund. Previously he spent over 6 years in Investment Banking at Samsung Group.
Mr. Lee earns Ph.D. in Seoul School of Integrated Science and Technology. He also holds LL.B. degree from Sungkyunkwan University in Korea, Master’s degree in finance from Michigan State University and Master’s degree in real estate from National University of Singapore.
He is also a Member of Management Board at ANREV, and Advisory board member of MOEF, KAMCO, PMAA and KORAD.
