Aritra Banerjee is part of the Global Spread Products Research team at Citi. He is based in London leads coverage of European asset-backed credit
Prior to Hemipshere, Cedric was the head of real estate investment France at InfraRed Capital Partners and was based in London. Cedric managed both acquisition and asset management activities. Cedric started his career at Aurel Leven Nexstage, a Paris based private equity firm before joining Curzon Global Partners / AEW Europe in London where he operated in the sector of Real Estate investments in the French market. After obtaining an engineering degree from Arts et Metiers (ACAM) and having a first engineering career at Airbus in Bristol, Cedric completed an MBA in Corporate Finance at EM Lyon. He also holds the Investment Management Certificate (IMC).
Darragh Culley is an Investment Director in the Institutional Retirement division of Legal and General which is the UK’s largest Pension Risk Transfer (PRT) solution provider. His focus is on Investment Business Development with a particular area of interest in Structured Finance in the context of UK insurance regulatory reforms. Before L&G, he worked for 8 years as a Director in the Structured Finance team in Aviva Investors originating a variety of private assets for the Aviva UK insurance and 3rd party clients. His educational background includes a BEng in Mechanical Engineering from University College Dublin and a MSC in Financial Maths from Warwick University.
Julia is a counsel in Clifford Chance's LondonStructured Debt Group. Julia's primary area of expertise is advising on abroad range of structured debt transactions with a particular focus on advising managers and investors on CLOs and fund financing transactions.
Peter has been chief executive of CREFC Europe, a London-based trade association for the real estate finance market, since 2013. CREFC Europe is the meeting place for real estate finance market participants of all kinds, with a mission to promote transparent, liquid and sustainable real estate debt markets for the long-term benefit of our members, the wider industry and the economy.
He was a member of an independent industry group for which he authored a 2014 report, A Vision for Real Estate Finance in the UK, which made recommendations to the Bank of England for the structure and regulation of our market so it can support the economy without presenting unacceptable risks to financial stability.
Peter previously spent five years at the British Property Federation, leading its work on tax, financial regulation and capital flows. Earlier, he spent ten years at law firm Freshfields, specialising in the tax aspects of real estate and real estate finance transactions. He read Russian and Italian at Oxford and has a Masters in Soviet studies from London University.
Phil Aldis is a Partner and Co-Head of Europe Asset-Backed Finance at Apollo. Prior to joining the firm in 2025, Phil was at Goldman Sachs in London for 13 years and was a Partner for the last 6 years. He was Head of International Mortgages and FICC Structured Investing at Goldman Sachs in London and acted as the SMF locally responsible for European Credit Trading, Structured Products Trading and Commodities Structured Finance & Lending. Prior to Goldman Sachs, Phil spent several years as both a trader and programmer at KBC Financial Products and before that as a management consultant at PA Consulting Group.
Phil is a trustee of Literacy Pirates - a UK-based non-profit that focuses on improving the literacy of underprivileged children.
Phil graduated with a Master of Engineering from the University of Cambridge.
Thomas Alamalhoda is a Managing Director and the Head of Resource & Portfolio Management, responsible for risk transfer solutions at BNP Paribas.
Thomas joined BNP Paribas in 2006 to develop the Credit Portfolio Management. Thomas has a focus on SRT and Credit Insurance for a diversified portfolio of assets including Corporate loans, Leveraged loans, Capital Calls, Real Assets Finance and Supply Chain facilities.
Prior to joining BNP Paribas, Thomas started his carreer at Credit Lyonnais Americas in New York and then at Credit Agricole CIB in Paris
Thomas holds an MBA degree in Finance from the City University of NY – Baruch College.
Zak Chaudary joined Deutsche Bank in 2007, and amongst other responsibilities is currently Head of SRT Syndicate and responsible for the structuring and arranging of DB and 3rd party issued SRTs. Previously, Zak was responsible for managing Deutsche Bank’s SRT transactions from an Issuer perspective, and instrumental in establishing the CRAFT and LOFT SRT programs. Zak holds a Master’s in Electrical & Electronic Engineering from Imperial College, and a Master’s in Finance from the London School of Economics.

Mr. George joined Golub Capital in 2008 and is a Managing Director and the Head of Structured Products. He is responsible for structuring and executing collateralized loan obligations, lines of credit and other structured debt financings for the Firm. He also helps oversee Golub Capital’s investment portfolio of third party securitization liabilities. Prior to joining Golub Capital, Mr. George worked at LaSalle Bank, where he specialized in real estate-focused collateralized debt obligations.
Mr. George earned his BS degree in Finance from the University of Pittsburgh.
Mr. Patel serves as Chief Investment Officer for Redding Ridge Europe and concurrently serves as a Partner in Credit at Apollo. Mr. Patel joined Apollo in 2008 and serves as the lead Portfolio Manager for Redding Ridge’s European CLOs. Mr. Patel previously served as Apollo’s senior trader in London and has been involved in the management of Apollo’s European CLOs since their inception in 2013. Prior to working at Apollo, Mr. Patel was a trader at Morgan Stanley in London and was responsible for trading high yield bonds, loans, and CDS. Mr. Patel started his career in Barclays graduate program where he worked on the market risk desk in New York and traded high yield bonds and CDS for the European Credit team at Barclays in London. Mr. Patel graduated from Kings College London (University of London) with a BSc (Hons). He is also a Chartered Financial Analyst holder (CFA) from the CFA Institute.
Brendan Condon is the head of European CLO Structuring at Deutsche Bank. He was previously a Senior Director at Fitch Ratings having worked in the European Leveraged Finance and European Structured Credit teams. He also worked at Ellington Management Group as a Structured Products Analyst. He has a bachelors in Economics and Information Systems as well as an MBA from the University of Notre Dame.
Cameron Saylor is a partner in the Structured Credit practice at Paul Hastings and is based in the firm’s London office. Mr. Saylor specializes in structured finance, securitization, asset backed lending and credit funds, with a focus on CLOs. Mr. Saylor advises the leading arrangers and managers on European CLO transactions, having recently advised clients such as Credit Suisse, Blackrock, Morgan Stanley, Goldman Sachs, Pinebridge, Societe Generale, Oak Hill Advisors, Sculptor, ICG, Alcentra, Mackay Sheilds, Albacore, Bank of America, PGIM, Deutsche Bank, JP Morgan, Citi, Barclays, Natixis, BNPP, Nomura, and Rothschild.
Mr. Saylor is an expert regarding European and U.S. risk retention, having advised on complex and novel compliance issues relevant to both U.S. and European CLO and other securitization transactions. He has spoken at various industry conferences and is regularly quoted in the industry press on matters concerning risk retention, Brexit, and other regulatory matters.
Prior to joining Paul Hastings, Mr. Saylor spent close to 10 years in the structured finance practice at other leading U.K. firms. He trained and worked as a lawyer in Canada prior to moving to London."
Chris McGarry is a Partner in the Structured Finance team at Mayer Brown. Since 2004, Chris has been advising arrangers, managers, originators, issuers and investors on CLOs and other securitisation asset classes including commodities, clean energy infrastructure, consumer credit and mortgages. Chris also advises clients on matters relating to the European Green Deal. In 2018, Chris served as a Knowledge Partner to the G20 Sustainable Finance Study Group and co-authored the G20 white paper on sustainable securitisation.

Chris is Head of Private Markets, EMEA at S&P Global Ratings, covering all aspects of the private debt space end to end (including, inter alia, NAVs, SubLines and Feeder Funds) looking after relationships across EMEA with Private Equity firms, Multistrategy Funds, Direct Lending Funds, and CLO Managers.
Prior to S&P Global Ratings, he spent over 20 years in the syndicated loan market, working across many of its’ different asset classes. His career started in NatWest on the project group that subsequently transformed into Europe’s first dedicated secondary loan sales team. His next role was on the primary sales desk, distributing corporate, structured and financial institution loans to European investors.
After primary sales, Chris was posted to Hong Kong, where he was responsible for the pricing, structuring and origination of syndicated debt in South and South East Asia. The main focus of his role was to bring debut issuers from Thailand and India to the international loan market.
On his return to Europe, he became the Head of European Loan Trading at NatWest, taking the team through the integration with The Royal Bank of Scotland, transforming the desk from a back-to-back operation to a full trading book, working mainly in the leverage and corporate markets. At the same time, he joined the Board of the LMA, a post he was to hold for ten years.
During his time on the Board, he co-chaired the Valuation & Trading Practices Committee and chaired a number of working parties, as well as writing the first set of Transferability Guidelines for the LMA. He also held the post of Vice-Chairman of the LMA for two years.
After RBS, Chris moved to Bank of Scotland, where he created and headed the Loan Sales and Trading Team.

Christopher Terry joined AllianceBernstein in 2017 and is a Managing Director of AB Private Credit Investors, where he currently leads the structured products initiatives for the team. Based in New York, he is focused on structuring, negotiating, and executing structured credit transactions including private credit CLOs, RRL ABS, warehouse facilities, and other long term portfolio finance solutions. Previously, he was an Associate at Garrison Investment Group, where he managed treasury for portfolio investments within the structured finance and real estate platforms. Prior to that, Mr. Terry served as a Credit Analyst and CLO Analyst at Monroe Capital. He began his career at LaSalle Bank as an Account Manager within the Global Trust Services Group. Mr. Terry holds a BA in Economics from the University of Michigan.
Colin is the portfolio manager for the structured finance direct investment mandate at USS. He has 10 years of buy-side experience in ABS, RMBS, CMBS and CLOs across the capital structure, both in Europe and in the US.
Daniel Tobias is a partner in Cadwalader’s Capital Markets Group in London.
Daniel specialises in securitisation, with a focus on CLOs. Daniel has represented arrangers, collateral managers and warehouse finance providers in connection with a variety of European CLO 2.0 transactions and loan warehouse facilities. Daniel has been working on CLO transactions since the resurgence of the European CLO market several years ago. He has advised on numerous CLOs, including those with complex originator retention structures.
Daniel holds undergraduate degrees in law and commerce from Victoria University of Wellington, and a masters degree in finance from Cambridge University. He is admitted as a solicitor in England and Wales, and in New Zealand.
"David is Head of Investments at the Danish credit boutique manager, Accunia Credit Management. For the last ten years, David has been investing in various types of credit instruments, especially CLOs (both EUR and US) as well as credit linked notes (CLN), ABS, SRTs and High Yield bonds.
Before Accunia, David worked as a portfolio manager at PensionDanmark (2018-2022), senior portfolio manager at Accunia Credit Management (2014-2018), economist at the Danish Central Bank (2008-2014) and analyst at the macro research team at Danske Bank (2005-2008).
David has a master’s degree in economics from the University of Copenhagen and a CFA in ESG Investing.
Dushy Puvan is a Managing Director and the Head of EMEA CLOs, responsible for the European CLO business at BNP Paribas. Dushy is also responsible for all CLO warehouse and senior portfolio financing activity of European BSL assets.
Dushy joined BNP Paribas in 2014 to build the European CLO platform. He is a CLO specialist with over 20 years experience across structured finance asset classes.
Dushy has a focus on SME, corporate loan and leveraged loan assets, having arranged cash and synthetic structures for banks and FIs. He was part of the first wave of CLO 2.0s in Europe reopening the CLO market in 2013.
Prior to joining BNP Paribas, Dushy was a Director at Lloyds Bank, where he worked for almost 10 years executing a range of 3rd party securitisations and balance sheet management transactions for both regulatory capital relief and funding solutions.
Dushy holds a PhD in Theoretical Chemistry from the University of Cambridge.
Eddie O’Neill (Dublin) joined KKR in 2014 and is a Partner. Mr. O’Neill is Co-Head of Global Leveraged Credit, a portfolio manager for KKR's leveraged credit funds and portfolios and a member of the European Leveraged Credit Investment Committee, US CLO Investment Committee, and Credit Portfolio Management Committee. Prior to joining KKR, Mr. O’Neill was a senior portfolio manager responsible at Avoca Capital. Before joining Avoca, Mr. O’Neill was an associate director at Allied Irish Banks Acquisition Finance, in which he was involved in structuring and arranging senior and mezzanine debt for leveraged finance transactions. He was also responsible for the overall management of Allied Irish Bank's leveraged loan portfolio. He has a B.A. in Economics and Politics from Trinity College and an M.B.S from University College Dublin.
Elena joined TwentyFour in 2015 as an analyst in the firm's ABS team. Her primary responsibilities at the beginning involved assisting in the management and day-to-day activities of the team, focusing on underwriting and modelling of ABS/CMBS/RMBS and CLOs. Over the years, she has developed strong expertise in CLOs and CMBS. She’s currently a portfolio manager and a member of the firm's ESG Committee, where she leads on all sustainability matters related to ABS.
Elena has a 1st class MSc with honours in Finance and holds a BSc. in Management and Business Administration from the University of Bologna.
Before joining TwentyFour, Elena worked for one year as a Financial Analyst at Oakmore Investment Partners and Aqovia. She is a CFA® Charterholder and a member of the CFA Society UK.
Harry has been working on the Structured Credit Syndicate desk for ABS and CLOs in the UK and Europe for Natixis since August 2019. Before this role, he was a CLO trader at Mediobanca, where he focused on both primary and secondary markets. Harry holds a Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) from Athens, Greece, and has completed both undergraduate and postgraduate studies at the London School of Economics and Queen Mary University of London.
Jane Lee is a Senior Managing Director and the Head of CLO Capital Formation for Blackstone Credit and Insurance (BXCI) based in London. Ms. Lee is responsible for the origination of U.S. CLOs, European CLOs, and listed funds.
Ms. Lee joined Blackstone from RBC in 2005. Prior to that, Ms. Lee was a Vice President at Indosuez Capital. Before joining Indosuez Capital, Ms. Lee was a Director in the Loan Products Group of Fitch IBCA, Inc., where she was responsible for rating collateralized debt obligations and other credit derivative transactions.
Ms. Lee received a BA in Economics and Operations Research from Columbia University.
Jim is a Co-Lead of the CLO Platform at Polen Capital. Prior to that, Jim was Managing Director and Head of CLOs at Mizuho Securities USA from April 2014. He was a Partner & M.D. of CRT Capital's CDO/CLO team from 2011 to 2014. During 2009-2010, Jim was a Founding & Managing Partner at Sirona Advisors in NYC. Jim was M.D. and Head of the Global CDO/CLO business at UBS from 2005 to 2007. Jim was also a member of the UBS Investment Bank Board. He was Vice Chairman of the Bond Market Association's CDO Committee in 2007. Jim started his career with Morgan Guaranty Trust and JP Morgan Securities from 1988 through 1992. He worked at Kidder Peabody from 1992 to 1994 before joining PaineWebber in 1995, which was purchased by UBS in 2000. Jim has a BS in Finance from Binghamton University School of Management with a Minor in East Asian Studies & Japanese. A former Rotary International Exchange student, he lived and worked in Tokyo and Singapore from 1991 through 1998 and is conversational in Japanese. He served as Treasurer and Board Member of the Binghamton University Alumni Association and was a Founding Member and Treasurer of the Noho-Bowery Stakeholder's Alliance.

Mr. Carden is a Managing Director for Cerberus Business Finance, the Firm’s middle-market direct lending platform.
Prior to joining Cerberus in 2015, Mr. Carden was a Managing Director at Prime Asset Fund and separately, Managing Director at Guardian Capital from 2012 to 2014. In both roles, he was responsible for sourcing, acquiring, and managing pools of non-performing residential mortgages. From 2010 to 2012, Mr. Carden was Vice President of Operations at Citadel Investment Group, where he managed a team responsible for the middle- and back-office functions related to all structured products and bank debt. Mr. Carden started his career in 2006 at Bank of America Merrill Lynch working in the corporate trust group initially on middle-market CLOs before moving to commercial real estate CLOs.
Mr. Carden graduated from the University of Kansas with a B.S. in Economics.
Managing Director, joined CVC in 2018. Kevin is a member of the Performing Credit team and is based in London. Prior to joining CVC, he worked at Goldman Sachs as an Associate. Kevin has a Bachelor of Science degree in Actuarial Science from the London School of Economics.
Kos Vavelidis advises originators, issuers, arrangers, investment managers and investors on a broad range of structured finance, derivatives, securitisation and asset-backed lending matters, with a particular focus on Collateralised Loan Obligations (CLOs).
He has experience representing the majority of arrangers, warehouse providers and a range of collateral managers and investors on European CLO transactions and warehouse facilities. He has recently represented clients such as Barclays, Bank of America Merrill Lynch, BNP Paribas, Citi, Credit Suisse, Deutsche Bank, Goldman Sachs, Jefferies, J.P. Morgan, Morgan Stanley, Neuberger Berman, ICG, Oak Hill Advisors, Ares and CVC.
His experience includes structuring CLOs and public and private securitisations to comply with a variety of regulatory requirements, including the Dodd-Frank Act and the EU and UK Securitisation Regulations. He advises on the EU and UK regulatory framework, including the risk retention and transparency requirements regimes, as they apply to European and U.S. transactions.
He has been at the forefront of developments in the European CLO space and has been involved in the development of new concepts, including uptier priming debt language, new ESG language, rating agency criteria, sanctions language and commercial concepts. Kos has spoken at industry conferences and been quoted in the press on legal developments in the industry.
Kos also has extensive experience in derivatives. He has acted for banks, hedge funds, private equity sponsors, and corporate borrowers, sovereigns, and sovereign wealth funds on a wide spectrum of cross-jurisdictional matters, with a particular emphasis on OTC and structured derivatives transactions in respect of currencies, rates, commodities and credit.
Before joining DLA Piper, Kos worked at a major a US law firm for four years and a Magic Circle firm for six years. He has previously been seconded to the structured finance legal team of a leading global investment bank and the International Swaps and Derivatives Association, where he acted as the Determinations Committee Secretary for all regions and worked on the publication of key derivatives documentation.
Kos graduated with a Law degree from King's College London in 2011 and worked as a summer analyst at Goldman Sachs and a diplomatic advisor with the Greek mission to the United Nations in New York before qualifying as a solicitor.
Ms. Chang is Head of CLO Capital Markets and is responsible for managing the CLO issuance pipeline and dialogues with deal investors and arranging banks. She has 19 years of experience in the CLO market, both on the banking and issuance side.
Ms. Chang joined Elmwood from RBC Capital Markets (“RBCCM”), where she was the Senior CLO Structurer serving as senior structurer and lead deal captain, in addition to overseeing all new CLO modeling and structuring.
Prior to RBCCM, Ms. Chang was a Structured Product Specialist at GoldenTree Loan Management (“GLM”), a CMV affiliate of GoldenTree Asset Management, where she worked closely with arranging banks on new CLO transactions. Prior to GLM, Ms. Chang was an Associate in UBS’ CLO structuring group. Prior to UBS, Ms. Chang worked at the Lehman Bankruptcy Estate. Ms. Chang began her career as an Analyst in Deutsche Bank’s CLO group.
Ms. Chang is a CFA® charterholder and graduated from Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. in 2004 with a B.S. in Finance and International Business.
Mark is a portfolio manager on the Securitized Credit and CLO Management team at BlueBay. Before joining the firm in 2021, he worked at an investment firm and was responsible for evaluating CLOs and executing all parts of the investment process including sourcing, underwriting and trading. Prior to this, he worked at a professional services company providing quantitative and advisory services for structured finance transactions. Mark began his career in the investment industry in 2008.
Matthew has 22 years’ experience of buy-side credit experience in CLOs and leveraged finance. Matthew joined Pearl Diver in 2009, he heads Pearl Diver’s EMEA business, is a voting member of the investment committee and is co-head of the credit division.
Prior to joining Pearl Diver, Matthew was a Credit Analyst with Alcentra where he covered Publishing, Media, Leisure and Gaming, Restaurants and Environmental Services. His experience covers analysing and investing in CLOs, investment origination, fundamental company level credit analysis and corporate restructurings.
Matthew holds a BSc in Economics from the University of Wales, Swansea.
Olivier Pons joined AXA IM in September 2020 as Senior Portfolio Manager with 13 years of experience in ABS and CLO. Olivier’s focus is in Mezzanine and Equity CLO investments, he is notably the Portfolio Manager of Volta Finance, a publicly traded vehicle. Prior to joining AXA IM he spent his career at BNP Paribas where he started as an ABS structurer. Following this, he moved to the European ABS Market Making desk as an ABS/RMBS Trader and then in 2016 to the CLO desk as a CLO Trader.
Serhan Secmen is a Partner and Portfolio Manager of the CLO Investments Strategy at Napier Park Global Capital (“Napier Park”). Napier Park separated from Citigroup’s alternative investment arm, Citi Capital Advisors (“CCA”), in February 2013. Prior to joining Citi Capital Advisors in August 2008, Serhan was a CLO trader at Lehman Brothers. Prior to his post at Lehman Brothers, he spent several years in Texas as a project manager focusing on special project financing. During his tenure at Napier Park, Serhan has assisted in the development of multiple propriety analytics systems and has been influential in the various strategies and methodologies for analyzing CLOs and other structured products. Since 2006, Serhan has also been involved in various industry forums and networks, including the investor roundtables for Moody's, S&P, and Fitch Ratings. He frequently appears as a speaker at multiple industry conferences and panels. Serhan holds an MBA degree from Wharton School of Business, an MS degree from Texas A&M University, and a BS degree from Bogazici University in Turkey.
Shawn Cooper is a portfolio manager and responsible for Orchard’s cash structured credit investments. Previously, he was a portfolio manager at Brevan Howard where he was responsible for CLO/ABS trading within the flagship multi-strategy master fund. Prior to joining Brevan Howard, Shawn was the Global Head of European Structured Credit Trading at Deutsche Bank where he worked from 2006 to 2014. He began his career as a software engineer. Shawn received an MBA in Finance from Columbia Business School and graduated cum laude with a BS in Computer Science from Cornell University. He is based in London.
Shiloh Bates, CFA joined Flat Rock Global in 2018 and is a Partner and Chief Investment Officer. Prior to joining Flat Rock Global, Mr. Bates was a Managing Director at Benefit Street Partners where he worked on corporate acquisitions. Prior to that, Mr. Bates was the Head of Structured Products at BDCA Advisor, where he was responsible for investments in CLOs and leveraged loans.
During his 20-year career, Mr. Bates has worked for several CLO managers and is a frequent panelist at CLO conferences. He wrote the book, CLO Investing with a focus on CLO Equity and BB Notes.
A life-long learner, Shiloh has a BA from Virginia Tech in Political Science, an MA in Public Policy from Harvard University, an MA in Financial Mathematics from the University of Chicago, and an MA in Statistics from Columbia University. He was also a specialist in psychological warfare in the US Army Reserves.
Sushila Nayak is co-head of the firm’s Structured Finance Group. Dual-qualified in New York and England and Wales, Sushila works with financial institutions, public and privately owned companies, asset managers and alternative lenders on complex, multidisciplinary financings.
She has a broad range of experience in debt financing transactions, including structured credit and corporate finance. She represents issuers, arrangers and collateral managers in connection with the issuance and restructuring of various structured finance products, derivatives transactions and debt issuances in Europe and the United States.
Sushila also provides counsel to technology and other companies on trade finance matters, including receivables financing arrangements, vendor financing, and supply chain financing.
Active in pro bono work, she leads the London office’s pro bono efforts.
Young Choi is a Partner, Global Head of Trading and the Portfolio Manager of Rockford Tower Capital Management. He is based in New York and is a member of the Management Committee, Global Investment Committee, CLO Investment Committee and Risk Committee.
Prior to joining King Street in 2006, Young worked at Citadel Investment Group as a Credit Analyst in the Distressed/High Yield Group and was Portfolio Manager of the firm’s $2 billion US leveraged loan and CLO portfolio. Prior to that, Young consulted at Bain & Co.
Young received a B.A. summa cum laude in Economics and a B.S.E. in Electrical Engineering from Duke University.
