CloseMario Pardo is a Managing Director on the Carlyle Europe Partners investment advisory team. He is based in Barcelona.
Prior to joining Carlyle, Mr. Pardo worked for two years as an Associate Consultant for The Boston Consulting Group. Mr. Pardo has a dual degree from Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya and the École Centrale de Paris in industrial engineering. He is fluent in Spanish, English, French and Catalan.
Mr. Pardo is a member of the boards of Palacios, Cupa and Codorníu.
Mr. Quintanal became Head of Banking Iberia & Corporate Finance Europe in June 2020.Jesús has more than 14 years at Banco Santander in a number of senior roles in Corporate Finance and Risk with a special focus in energy and infra sectors. His last position was Chief Credit Officer of Global Corporate & Investment Banking (SCIB). He is also Board member of Banco Santander Colombia. Previously he was managing director at Alantra Corporate Finance.Jesús holds a bachelor’s degree in finance and economics from Universidad Complutense de Madrid, and an MBA from Insead where he graduated summa cum laude.
With a multi-jurisdictional background in law, Andrejs displayed a keen and early interest for corporate investigations. Having worked in high-profile Southern European investigations for many years, he is now spearheading efforts to expand 36Brains' presence in Germany and Central Europe.
Juan Muro Lara graduated in Business Administration from CUNEF, the College of Financial Studies affiliated to Madrid Complutense University.
He joined ACCIONA in 2005 as Deputy Chief of Staff, being appointed as Chief Corporate Development and Investor Relations Officer in 2006. Since 2017, he has also been serving as the CEO for Other Businesses in ACCIONA.
Before ACCIONA, between 1994 and 2004, he worked as Executive Director at UBS Investment Bank in Madrid, and between 1992 and 1994 as Assistant Director for UBS Investment Bank in London.
He has also worked at AFISA as Deputy Financial Director and at the Bank of Spain. He was Professor of the Garrigues Master’s in Mergers and Acquisitions (2004-2007) and at ICADE in Madrid (1997-2000).
José Luis Rodríguez regularly advises large companies, family businesses and funds on Spanish and international acquisition transactions, shareholders agreements, and corporate group restructurings.
He handles securities markets transactions, including the admission to listing of companies on the Spanish securities markets and on the alternative Spanish market (BME Growth), and takeover bids, as well as advising on corporate governance. He is secretary non-director of several companies.
From September 2007 to August 2008, he was on secondment at Clearly Gottlieb Stten & Hamilton LLP.
