Based in Milan, Michele belongs to the Business Recovery Services division of PwC since 2007. Michele has been involved in several operating and financial restructuring projects, on behalf of investors, borrowers and lenders, gaining a solid experience on both negotiation and distressed situations.
Furthermore, Michele has completed his professional skills and experiences with distressed M&A deals and assistance in NPEs (both NPLs and UTPs) transactions.
Before 2007, Michele served in Finance team of a primary Italian bank. Michele is graduated in Economics from Bocconi University in Milan.
Francesco De Gennaro focuses on restructuring and special opportunities investments, ranging from transactional assistance to lenders and investors, such as special opportunities funds and hedge funds on financial and corporate restructurings, to distressed M&A and assets acquisitions, distressed real estate projects and debt trading.
Francesco is also experienced in bankruptcy-related litigation and protection of creditors' rights. In recent years, Francesco has significantly developed his market position in the field of financial restructurings.
Born in Milan in 1971, he graduated in Electronic Engineering from the Milan Polytechnic.
He has worked at Accenture since 1997 and, then, at McKinsey & Company since 2000 as a manager.
In 2005 he held the position of Head of Financial Advisory Services at Unicredit Xelion Banca and, then from 2007, he was responsible first of the Financial Advisory sector and subsequently of the banking, financial, wealth management and insurance products for private customers of Banca Monte Paschi di Siena.
In 2015, he joined the Cerved Group with the responsibility of General Manager of Cerved Credit Management Spa. Over the years he has taken on various positions within the Credit Management Division, including that of Chief Executive Officer of Cerved Master Services. In July 2021 he took over responsibility for the entire Credit Management division, first with the role of General Manager and, starting from 12 April 2022, with the role of Chief Executive Officer.From December 2022, in addition to Credit Management, he has taken the responsibility of several product lines at Cerved Group, including: marketing and sales intelligence and AML.
