Bruce Anderson is a Managing Director in the Power and Infrastructure team at The Manufacturers Life Insurance Company, a leading global financial services group with principal operations in Canada, Asia and the United States (where it operates as John Hancock).
Based in Toronto, Bruce is part of the team responsible for directing Manulife’s involvement in the development and financing of projects in the infrastructure, public-private partnership, renewable energy and utility sectors. With over 20 years of finance experience, Bruce leads Manulife’s global efforts in originating and managing fixed income opportunities in the infrastructure space. Manulife’s Power and Infrastructure team manages a global portfolio of approx. C$50 billion and consistently invests approx. $4 billion annually. A graduate of the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, Bruce is also a CPA and CFA charterholder.
Ray is a partner in White & Case’s Project Development and Finance group based in the New York office. His practice focuses on the tender, development, financing, acquisition and divestiture of domestic and international projects in the renewable energy, conventional power, oil & gas, petrochemical and infrastructure sectors. Ray’s financing experience includes international corporate and commercial transactions, including the full spectrum of debt solutions, equity investments, asset-based structured financings and capital markets transactions.
Ray has extensive experience with all of the industry issues and negotiation dynamics for each link of a project, including drafting and negotiating the full range of finance and project documentation. His ability to represent both developers and lenders at various stages of a transaction, including the early design and engineering stage, provides a distinctive versatility to his practice and critical overall deal perspective to his clients.
John Breckenridge is President and Chief Executive Officer of Arevon, which spun out of the Capital Dynamics Clean Energy Infrastructure platform in 2021. Previously, John was a Senior Managing Director at Capital Dynamics and Head of Clean Energy Infrastructure (CEI) for seven years, where he grew the team from $400 million AUM to more than $7 billion. Under his leadership, the CEI team received the 2019 Financial Investment of the Year and the 2018 Financial Deal of the Year at the annual S&P Global Platts Global Energy Awards. The team was also recognized in 2019 and 2020 as a Sector Leader in renewable power generation from GRESB, due to its outstanding leadership in sustainability.
John has more than 20 years of direct private equity investing experience, preceded by more than 18 years of operations management. Prior to joining Capital Dynamics, John was a managing partner at Bregal Energy, where he led a team exclusively focused on power generation and natural gas-focused investments. Prior to that he spent six years as a partner at CCMP Capital (formerly JP Morgan Partners) where he invested in energy and industrial opportunities. John also served as Chief Operating Officer at Densei Lambda KK, a publicly-traded Japanese corporation with eight factories and more than 4,000 employees located around the world. Earlier in his career, John led several large divisions of Invensys and Exide Electronics in the U.S. and held positions in engineering, sales, and general management at AT&T and StraforFacom SA. John holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Vermont.
Grover Burthey is an Executive Vice President and Head of ESG Portfolio Management for PIMCO, where he oversees PIMCO’s ESG investment process across the firm for all sectors of the market. From 2017 to 2019, Mr. Burthey served as Deputy Assistant Secretary for Policy at the U.S. Department of Transportation where he focused on infrastructure policy. From 2012 to 2017, Mr. Burthey worked at PIMCO as a portfolio manager on the structured credit desk, covering securitized debt, commercial real estate, and corporate credit. Prior to PIMCO, Mr. Burthey worked at HSBC in the debt capital markets group. Mr. Burthey holds an M.B.A. from the Stanford School of Business and a B.S. in economics from the University of Pennsylvania.
Ray co-heads a team of bankers at SMBC responsible for originating, arranging financing and providing advisory services for a wide range of infrastructure projects in North America.
Ray has over 30 years of experience include project lending, investment banking and financial advisory for transportation, social infrastructure, environmental, energy generation, and telecommunication facilities. Highlighted financings include sole buy- side advisor on the acquisition of the A25 toll bridge concession (Montreal), coordinating lead arranger for the Vista Ridge (TX) Water Supply Project, and mandated leader arranger (MLA) for the LAX Automatic People Mover, the Long Beach (CA) Civic Center, the State Street (IN) Redevelopment Project, the Champlain Bridge in Montreal, the Regina By-Pass, Edmonton Light Rail, Ottawa Light Rail and Ohio State University’s CampusParc financing.
Prior to joining SMBC, Ray served as financial advisor to the U.S. Department of Transportation’s TIFIA Program Office on seven TIFIA financings; successfully closed project financings for the U.S. Departments of Energy, Defense, National Institute of Health (NIH) and the Internal Revenue Service (IRS).
Ray was previously a Managing Director & Head of Project Finance at CIFG; Managing Director at Scully Capital; and held project finance roles at Ambac and Credit Suisse.
Ray serves as a Member of Advisory Board of Cornell University’s Program on Infrastructure Policy (CPIP), the Editorial Board of the Journal of Structured Finance and the Committee on Revenue and Finance of the Transportation Research Board. Raymond holds an MBA from the Columbia Business School a BA in History, with Honors, from the University of Michigan
Ed Diffendal is a Managing Director and Co-Head Private Infrastructure Americas at Partners Group, based in Denver. He is a member of the Private Infrastructure Investment Committee and the Board of Directors of the firm's portfolio companies Enfragen, Milestone Equipment, Fermaca and Resilient Infrastructure Group, and has 25 years of industry experience. Prior to joining Partners Group, he was the CEO of United Bridge Partners, a private transportation infrastructure investment company, where he pioneered the use of fully private infrastructure capital for replacement transportation projects. Previously, Ed was a Managing Director at the American Infrastructure Fund, where he focused on transportation, midstream oil and gas, and asset intensive real property infrastructure. He holds a bachelor's and master's degree in economics from Stanford University and an MBA from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College.
Ammad Faisal, Senior Managing Director at Marathon Capital and Co-Head of NYC office, has over 15 years of investment banking and capital markets experience covering the energy and power sector including financial sponsors, electric & gas utilities, independent power producers, and renewable energy companies. At Marathon Capital, he focuses on mergers and acquisitions, debt, equity, and tax equity capital raise transactions. Henry is a Co-Founder of American Triple I and serves as the firm’s Chairman. He provides the firm with governance, leadership, and helps develop relationships with asset and investor partners. Henry has been a pioneer in the investment industry for nearly 35 years, having successfully led and launched several investment platforms serving institutional investors and communities. In 2003, Henry co-founded CityView, a registered investment adviser which has invested in and completed more than 100 real asset projects in 13 states. During his time at Cityview, Henry helped to oversee the deployment of $5 billion of asset value and the formation of eight funds as a member of Cityview’s executive, investment, and audit committees. In 1988, Henry formed Cisneros Asset Management Company, a nationally recognized fixed income asset manager.
Henry is a part owner of Siebert Williams Shank & Co., which has managed over $1.4 trillion of municipal bond offerings in more than 5,000 transactions for the funding of education, housing, health services, transportation, utilities, capital facilities, and general infrastructure projects.
Leadership in Infrastructure
In 1981, Henry became the first Hispanic-American mayor of a major U.S. city, San Antonio, where he helped rebuild the city’s economic base and spurred the creation of jobs through massive infrastructure projects and downtown improvements, including a new airport terminal, a 65,000 domed-stadium, underground flood diversion for the City’s Riverwalk, and a nuclear power generation project. In 1992, President Clinton appointed Henry as Secretary of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development where he was credited with initiating the revitalization of many of the nation’s public housing developments and formulating policies which led to the nation’s highest homeownership rate.
Henry holds a Bachelor of Arts and a Master’s degree in Urban and Regional Planning from Texas A&M University, a Master’s degree in Public Administration from Harvard University, and a Doctorate in Public Administration from George Washington University, as well as more than 20 honorary doctorates from leading universities. He currently holds the Series 7, 24, 52, 53, 63, 79, 82, 50, 72, 62, and 65 licenses.

Julio Garcia is responsible for IFM Investors’ infrastructure investment business in North America and manages the infrastructure team in the United States. Julio joined IFM Investors in Melbourne in 2008 and his experience includes senior roles in deal sourcing, investment evaluation, transaction execution, asset management, investment banking and strategy. Julio has led several major infrastructure investments and has been a director on the boards of various infrastructure companies, including the Port of Brisbane, NSW Ports, Ecogen Energy, and Melbourne Airport. Prior to joining IFM Investors, Julio held positions with Viant Capital, Bank of America, Robertson Stephens and Gemini Consulting. Julio holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the Stanford University Graduate School of Business and a Bachelor of Arts, Public Policy degree from Stanford University.
Pooja Goyal is a Partner and Chief Investment Officer of Carlyle’s Infrastructure Group, Co-Head of the Carlyle Global Infrastructure Opportunity Fund (CGI), and Head of Renewable and Sustainable Energy. She is based in New York.
Prior to joining Carlyle, Ms. Goyal was the Head of the Alternative Energy Investing Group at Goldman Sachs, where she led Goldman Sachs’ investments in the renewables sector. Ms. Goyal has been investing in the renewables sector since 2005 when she joined the Alternative Energy Investing Group as an associate. She was promoted to Managing Director in 2012 and took over as Head of the group in 2013. Under her leadership, the group built a portfolio of investments dedicated to the renewable energy and sustainable resources sector. The portfolio consisted of investments via debt, equity and tax equity instruments, ownership of assets and portfolios of assets.
As part of her role, Ms. Goyal has spoken at several industry conferences, including the Goldman Sachs Sustainable Finance Innovation Forum. She has held several board and committee positions including the boards of Vivint Solar and the American Council of Renewable Energy and the investment committees at Altus Power and Goldman Sachs’ Americas Special Situations Group. Prior to 2005, Ms. Goyal was part of the Investment Banking Division at Goldman Sachs.
Ms. Goyal is a graduate of University of Pennsylvania, where she received a BS in finance from the Wharton School and a BAS in computer and cognitive science from the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences.
Alfred Griffin is Senior Managing Director and Head of Generate Credit at Generate Capital, where he leads the company’s credit lending platform for sustainable infrastructure. Previously, Alfred was founding President of NY Green Bank, a $1 billion New York State-sponsored specialty finance company focused on specialty finance for sustainable infrastructure and clean energy. He led the organization from concept to over $1 billion of investments, making NYGB the largest exclusively focused sustainable infrastructure private credit fund in the United States -- investing in solar, wind, storage, energy efficiency, fuel cells, controlled environment agriculture, sustainable transportation and other proven technologies expected to reduce greenhouse gases. Prior to NY Green Bank, Alfred spent 16 years with Citigroup Global Markets in a variety of structured finance roles in Capital Markets and Investment Banking. He holds bachelor’s and Master of Business Administration degrees from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst.
Chea Hart is a Principal at Ridgewood Infrastructure with significant experience in the energy, utilities, transportation and communication sectors. At Ridgewood Infrastructure, his responsibilities include the sourcing, execution and management of infrastructure investments.
Prior to joining Ridgewood Infrastructure, Chea was an investment professional in IFM Investors’ Global Infrastructure Fund. At IFM Investors, Chea performed investment evaluation, transaction execution and asset management across the infrastructure landscape.
Chea began his career as a member of the Energy & Power Investment Banking Team at Bank of America Merrill Lynch. He received his Bachelor of Science degrees in Finance and Accounting from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business and his MBA with Distinction from Harvard Business School.
Michael Hill is a Managing Director and the Americas Head of the Sustainable Energies Group (SEG), focusing on direct private equity investments across the energy sector. Michael also serves as Head of CPPIB’s New York office.Prior to joining the CPPIB in 2016, Michael spent 25 years in investment banking,including, most recently, as Head of M&A and Corporate Finance for NomuraSecurities.While at Nomura, Michael was a member of the Global Investment BankingExecutive Committee and the America’s Operating and Capital CommitmentsCommittees. Previously, Michael was Global Co-Head of Natural Resources atDeutsche Bank and held various positions at Morgan Stanley where he started hiscareer in 1989. Ben Jenkins is Chief Investment Officer of DigitalBridge. Mr. Jenkinsis also the Co-Founder of Digital Bridge Holdings and the formerChairman of Global Tower Partners.Prior to forming Digital Bridge Holdings, Mr. Jenkins was a SeniorManaging Director and head of the Hong Kong office for TheBlackstone Group. Dave Joynt is Managing Partner in Brookfield’s Infrastructure Group. In this role, he leads infrastructure investment activities in North America has a global focus on the transport sector. He also co-leads the investment team in Toronto.
Prior to joining Brookfield in 2020, Mr. Joynt was a senior principal at Canada Pension Plan Investment Board on its infrastructure team across a number of geographies, including working as CFO of its Australian rail business. Previously, Mr. Joynt worked in private equity and advisory.
Mr. Joynt holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the Harvard Business School, where he graduated as a Baker Scholar, and an Honours Business Administration degree from the Richard Ivey School of Business, where he graduated as an Ivey Scholar.
Nanda Kamat joined MUFG in December 2009 and is currently the head of the Infrastructure Project Finance team. She has over 15 years of experience in project and infrastructure finance and while at MUFG has led numerous financial advisories for large-scale infrastructure projects including for the LAX Automated People Mover, I-395 Express Lanes, and Purple Line projects. She has also successfully closed financings in both the bank and bond markets for numerous greenfield and brownfield infrastructure assets, including PR-22, Long Beach Container Terminal, Veolia District Energy (now Vicinity Energy), and Indiana Toll Road. Nanda previously held positions at Transurban USA, Goldman Sachs, and Societe Generale. Nanda holds an MBA from The Wharton School, an MA in International Relations from Johns Hopkins University, and a BS in Finance from New York University.
ALLISON KINGSLEY is Founder and Partner of NOVA Infrastructure, a value-added, middle market infrastructure manager investing in environmental services, transportation, energy transition, and communications sectors in North America. Currently NOVA’s portfolio for its $565 million Fund I consists of seven investments: a vertically integrated waste management platform; a US Flag maritime logistics business; a fixed base operator aviation platform; a port-centric storage and logistics platform; a renewable natural gas business; a fiber-to-the-home business; and a fixed wireless business.
At NOVA, Allison leads the sourcing and execution of infrastructure investments and sits on the Investment Committee. Currently, Allison serves on the Board of Directors for Bold Ocean, a government-contracted maritime logistics business operating US Flag vessels, and Harbor Logistics, a warehousing, drayage, and supply chain logistics business based in Charleston.
Allison has nearly 25 years of experience working in infrastructure. Prior to founding NOVA, Allison invested for infrastructure manager Reformation Capital and also executed bespoke investments for anchor PartnerRe’s principal finance portfolio. Previously, Allison worked at Ambac focusing on global project and structured financings. She started her career at Lehman Brothers in the M&A group in the investment banking division. In addition, Allison is a political economist and former tenured business school professor.
Allison holds a B.A. cum laude from Rice University, an M.S.L. from Yale Law School, and a Ph.D. from Columbia University. She currently serves on the Board of Directors for YWCA Greenwich, an organization committed to eliminating racism and empowering women.
Nadav Klugman is a partner in the Banking & Finance practice in Mayer Brown’s Chicago office. He focuses his practice on global project finance and infrastructure investment. He regularly represents borrowers (including private equity funds, private finance companies and IPPs) and financiers (including commercial banks, official lenders, development banks, other institutional investors and export credit agencies) in connection with a wide range of complex project financings and refinancings and private acquisitions and divestitures of infrastructure.
Nadav also frequently represents both lenders and funds in various asset classes. Dolly's practice focuses on the infrastructure and energy sector, including public private partnerships, reflecting 25 years of experience working on some of the most significant deals in the sector. She represents sponsors, infrastructure funds, commercial banks, institutional lenders, contractors, secondary market investors and governments in the tender, development, acquisition and financing of greenfield and brownfield infrastructure projects. Dolly has advised across multiple infrastructure asset classes including surface transportation (airports, ports, roads, parking, bridges, transit and rail), water and wastewater, waste management, district energy, digital and social infrastructure. Her breadth of practice and decades of experience allows her to anticipate concerns, propose solutions and promote agreement. She has played a leading role in the introduction of private investment and finance in the infrastructure sector in North America, having advised on multiple, award-winning transactions, including ones that were first-of-their-kind.
Nicolas Moessner is a Senior Director in the Infrastructure Financing team. His mandate covers activities in clean and low carbon energy, digital and telecom, transportation, water and waste, and social assets, across various structures and credit spectrum. He works in close collaboration with the Infrastructure and Capital Solutions teams and focuses on the American and Latin American markets.
Mr. Moessner has over 20 years of experience in finance. He previously occupied several positions at Société Générale, Dexia and Deutsche Bank, with exposure to the Americas, EMEA and Asia.
Ed is a Managing Director based in H.I.G.’s New York office and co-leads the firm’s Infrastructure activities.
Prior to joining H.I.G., Ed was a Managing Director at Goldman Sachs & Co. Ed worked at Goldman Sachs for 19 years in a variety of capacities, including in the Telecom, Media and Technology group in Investment Banking, and, most recently, as head of the Americas at Goldman Sachs’ Infrastructure fund. Prior to Goldman Sachs, Ed served as a judicial law clerk for the U.S. Supreme Court and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit.
Ed earned a B.A. from Harvard College, a J.D. from Harvard Law School, and a D.Phil. from Oxford University, with honors, where he was a Rhodes Scholar.
Mansi Patel is a Managing Director at MetLife Investments Management in the MetLife Private Capital group. She is the Head of the U.S. Infrastructure and Project Finance debt, responsible for transaction sourcing, origination, underwriting and portfolio management across core infrastructure sectors.
Prior to joining MetLife Investment Management in 2006, Ms. Patel held roles at PricewaterhouseCoopers in their advisory and consulting tax divisions. She holds a B.S. degree in Statistics and a B.S. degree in Finance from Rutgers College and a M.B.A. in Finance from Silberman College of Business at Fairleigh Dickinson University.
Rishi Patel is a Principal in the global credit group. Rishi has over twelve years of investment experience and has invested$4bn+ across the capital structure and arranged $20bn+ in high yield corporate and asset backed credit opportunities. He joined I Squared Capital from Upwell, a private global asset manager focused on investing in purpose driven platforms in renewables, water, and digital infra, where he served as a Principal on the investment team. Before joining Upwell, Rishi worked in Deutsche Bank’s Transportation, Infrastructure, and Energy Financing Group, where he was a Vice President leading special situation investments. During his tenure at Deutsche Bank, Rishi structured and executed opportunities globally, across the capital structure in various renewable, power, infrastructure, telecom, oil and gas, shipping, and aviation sector opportunities. Earlier in his career, Rishi worked as an investment analyst at Macquarie in the Distressed Debt and Special Situations Trading group. He was also an analyst and member of the investment committee at activist hedge fund Barington Capital, working on several successful public activist campaigns. He began his career at Bank of America Merrill Lynch in the Leverage Finance Group, focused on natural resources and digital infrastructure. Rishi earned a B.S. from the NYU Stern School of Business where he graduated with Honors. He has been a guest speaker at NYU Stern Center of Sustainable Business.
Caleb Powers is a Principal of Ember Infrastructure, a sustainability-focused private equity fund active in the low carbon energy, water, waste, and agricultural & industrial sectors. Ember partners with experienced management teams to invest in middle market businesses and assets that contribute to reduced carbon intensity and enhanced resource efficiency. He has 13 years of experience in infrastructure finance. He was most recently a Vice President at The Carlyle Group, where he led investment activities in the water & waste sectors, with additional transaction experience in the energy and agriculture sectors, for Carlyle’s Global Infrastructure Opportunity Fund. In his role, Caleb was responsible for investment origination and structuring, due diligence, execution, and monitoring.
Until 2018, Caleb was a Vice President with Global Infrastructure Partners in New York as a member of the investment team. Prior to joining GIP in 2012, Caleb worked in the Natural Resources Group at Deutsche Bank in New York, focusing on the power, utilities, and renewable energy sectors.

Prior to his private legal experience, Ravi worked as a Managing Director and founding member of the Investment Team at Blackstone Infrastructure Partners and also recently served as the General Counsel of Blackstone Infrastructure Partners. Earlier, he also served as a Managing Director at Alinda Capital Partners, an infrastructure investment firm.

Santhosh Rao is Head of Telecommunications Americas. Rao joined Natixis in 2016; prior to Natixis, Santhosh was a Director within the Global Technology, Media and Telecom Investment Banking group at Deutsche Bank where he spent nine years covering a wide range of industries including Wireless Infrastructure, Enterprise Telecom and Pay TV / Cable.
Rao has advised clients across a broad range of products including M&A, debt and equity financing, and private placements. Rao has more than 15 years of experience advising clients in the Telecom, Media and Technology sectors.
Kent is a partner in the global Projects, Energy, Natural Resources and Infrastructure practice, and he splits his time between our New York and Los Angeles offices. His global experience is unique among infrastructure lawyers. Kent has been involved in major infrastructure financings in the Americas, Europe, the Middle East and Asia, including many first-of-their-kind transactions. He has played a leading role in the development of private finance in the transportation infrastructure sector in North America, having successfully closed many transactions now considered templates for infrastructure finance. He has been involved in the financial closing of more than 100 infrastructure and natural resources transactions worldwide.
Andy Schneider is a senior US economist at BNP Paribas, where he specializes in monetary policy and leads the team’s inflation coverage and analysis. Prior to joining BNP Paribas, Andy worked at Infusive Asset Management as the firm’s lead macroeconomic analyst. Before Infusive, Andy worked in the sovereign risk group at Moody’s Investors Service, where he focused on a portfolio of emerging market sovereign credits.
Andy has an MA in international economics from Johns Hopkins School of Advance International Studies (SAIS) and a BA in international relations and history from Stanford University.
Jeff Shuman focuses his practice on meeting the corporate and transactional needs of public and private companies with respect to capital markets transactions, mergers and acquisitions, counselling with respect to corporate governance matters and general corporate counselling. In particular, he has extensive experience advising corporate issuers and Special Purpose Acquisition Companies with respect to a variety of types of public and private securities offerings, including offerings of equity and debt securities and registered and unregistered exchange offers. In 2011, he was recognized by The M&A Advisor as a "40 Under 40" award winner for his work in the mergers and acquisitions, financing, and turnarounds industries.
James is a Senior Managing Director and is Head of Transportation & Logistics with Stonepeak. Prior to joining Stonepeak, James was a member of Credit Suisse’s Global Energy group, where he focused on the power and renewables sectors. James received a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Yale University.
