Xiaolin Zheng Partner CE INNOVATION CAPITAL

Xiaolin is a Partner in CE Innovation Capital, An Asian Growth Capital Fund with focus on Fintech, Enterprise Tech and Consumer Platforms.

Before joining CEIC, Xiaolin was a director in JD’s Strategic Investment team, and was responsible for developing and implementing the group strategy of JD via investments and M&A, focusing on investment opportunities in consumer, technology and logistics sectors.

Prior to JD, Xiaolin co-founded and held the title of Head of Business Development at YouJieYouHuan, a China fintech start up company

Xiaolin started her career as an investment banker at Merrill Lynch in 2009, and was an associate in Deutsche Bank’s Technology, Media, and Telecommunications team between 2011-2014. She was born and raised in China and received a full scholarship to study in Singapore and the US, graduating with a First-Honor Bachelor Degree (Major in Quantitative Finance) from the National University of Singapore.

Ms Shengyan Fan joined China Everbright Limited in 2009 and is a Managing Director of the Merger & Acquisition Department. She also serves as a Managing Partner of the CEL Catalyst China Israel Fund and a member of the investment committee of the CEL Global Investment Fund and the CEL Catalyst China Israel Fund.

Ms. Fan has 20 years’ experience in direct investment, capital raising and investment banking businesses. Prior to joining CEL, Ms. Fan has held various positions with increasing responsibility at multinational investment banks.

Ms. Fan holds a BA and a BS from Tsinghua University and an MA from the University of Oxford.

Mr Evan Auyang is the Group President of Animoca Brands, a Hong Kong-based multinational blockchain technology and investment company focused on developing the digital property rights ecosystem, including play-to-earn games, non-fungible tokens (NFTs), decentralized finance (DeFi), blockchain marketplaces, infrastructure and more.Mr Auyang is also the Chairman of the Board of Civic Exchange, a non-partisan public policy think tank. Prior to joining Transport International and KMB, Mr Auyang was an Associate Partner at McKinsey & Company. Before that, Mr Auyang worked at Citigroup’s Derivatives Structuring and Marketing unit.He obtained his undergraduate degree in Economics and Political Science from Brown University and his MBA degree from the Kellogg School of Management

Gaurav Nayak Sales Director DATASITE

Gaurav Nayak focuses on delivering Datasite’s M&A technology solutions and services to private equity clients in APAC. Prior to Datasite, he worked at AVCJ, part of the Mergermarket Group, where he helped set up the commercial operations of their nascent AVCJ Research Database. Before that, Gaurav was the Commercial Manager for APAC at Financial Times. After graduating from UCL with a Masters in Biochemical Engineering, Gaurav decided to complement his sound theoretical engineering knowledge with sales skills and exposure to the events industry. Working at both CLI and Mines and Money gave him a great understanding of the sales process as well as conference production and event management.

Kenny Man Co-Founder & Managing Partner 01 Fintech

Kenny Man is currently the Co-Founder & Managing Partner of 01Fintech Limited. He has more than 20 years of extensive management consulting, operational and investment experience from a wide range of business and e-commerce companies. He rejoined Ant Financial in 2015 and begin to ramp up the globalization strategy by investing or establish partnership in Paytm (India), Ascend Money (Thailand), Dana (Indonesia), GCash (Philippines), Alipay HK (Hong Kong), TNGd (Malaysia), Gcash (Philippines), Bkash (Bangladesh), Kakao Pay (Korea), Eyesverify (US) etc..

Prior to that, Kenny is a Senior Investment Director at Vision Knight Capital, a USD 800mn asset under management private equity firm. He has led the 91.com project from deal execution, supporting the Company’s listing and finally sold the company to Baidu for USD 1.9 billion (at that time were the largest internet M&A in China). He has also been leading the 500.com deal which supports the Company to list in the NYSE. 

Prior to Vision Knight Capital, Kenny was the Director of Alibaba.com Investment & Acquisition team. He built the international M&A team; while completing multiple deals during his tenure, he did the first overseas acquisition deal for Alibaba and the first acquisition for Alipay. His deal included Vendio, Auctiva, and Singlefeed in US and Oncard Payments in China. He also worked in the Corporate Finance team in Alibaba Group prior to joining the investment team, deeply involved in the Alibaba.com IPO deal. Prior to Alibaba, 

Kenny was the Bottling Operations Planning Manager, assisting the COO of Pepsi China on strategic and operational planning and was the Market Development Manager, overseeing the restaurant market in Hong Kong & Macau. Before Pepsi, Kenny worked in Mckinsey & Company in the Corporate Finance & Strategy Practice, advising MNCs on their China growth strategy and potential synergies on M&A.Kenny received an Executive MBA, Joint Degree program in the Kellogg School of Management, Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, and a Bachelor of Commerce degree in University of British Columbia.
