Todd De Rosa is a hands-on leader who thrives on developing new markets and driving strategic initiatives. With more than 15 years of experience across technology and innovation sectors, he has consistently delivered measurable results and built lasting relationships. As General Manager of Deals & Procure at Ansarada, Todd leads multi-product go-to-market strategies, combining commercial insight with technical expertise to expand markets and unlock new opportunities.
Romina has 25 years of experience working in M&A and investments. She is a member of the Australian Equities team at AustralianSuper, where her role includes managing capital market activity and engaging on M&A and other issues which impact long term value creation. Romina was previously the Head of Investments Legal at AustralianSuper and has also held board roles for the fund. Prior to joining AustralianSuper, Romina worked at BHP in M&A and legal roles, and in the M&A group at Herbert Smith Freehills. Romina holds a Bachelor of Science and a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Melbourne, an MBA from the University of Oxford, and is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
Stephanie joined BGH Capital in 2017 as a Deal Partner focused on investments in Consumer Products & Services and as Head of Capital Markets. Prior to joining BGH she was a Managing Director in the investment banking division at Credit Suisse, based in Melbourne. Stephanie spent nearly fourteen years at Credit Suisse and was Head of Retail, Consumer, Healthcare and Chemicals for Australia. During her time at Credit Suisse, Stephanie advised on over A$10 billion of capital markets assignments and over A$10 billion in M&A transactions. Prior to that, Stephanie worked for four years in the investment banking division of Citigroup in Australia and New York and spent almost three years as a lawyer at Allens Linklaters.
Stephanie is a Director of Navitas, Village Roadshow and Hazeldene’s. She currently serves on the Australian Takeovers Panel and New Zealand Takeovers Panel. She holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) and a Bachelor of Law from the University of Melbourne (Honours).
Robert is a leading United States capital markets and mergers and acquisitions (M&A) lawyer in Australia. He specialises in US debt and equity offerings, including initial public offerings, and cross-border M&A. He recently retired from Sidley Austin, where he was a Global Co-Leader of Sidley’s capital markets practice from 2010 until 2023 and the Managing Partner of the Sydney office from 2007 until 2020.
Prior to this, he was partner at Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman. He began his career as a litigation lawyer at Skadden in New York and then Sydney. He also served as a Law Clerk to the Honorable Roger J. Miner on the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit.
David Lang joined KKR in 2018 and is a Partner and Co-Head of KKR Australia and New Zealand. He is also the Head of the Private Equity team for KKR in Australia and New Zealand and has led KKR across a number of its investments, including The Arnott’s Group and Colonial First State. Prior to KKR, he was a founding member and partner of a global private equity fund based in London and New York.
Tim is a founder of Pacific Equity Partners and is a member of the firm’s Operating Committee. Prior to founding PEP, Tim was the Chairman and Managing Director of Bain & Company’s Australasian and African operations and a member of Bain & Company’s Global Executive Committee. Tim has also served on a number of government committees and led national strategy projects. Tim received a BA/MA from Oxford University where he was a Mitsui European Scholar and an MPA from Harvard where he was a Kennedy Scholar. In 2019, Tim was made a member in the general division of the Order of Australia (AM) for significant service to the community through philanthropic initiatives.
Maggie is Mergermarket’s APAC Associate Editor and Australia/New Zealand Bureau Chief. She joined Mergermarket Australia in 2017 and has since been covering corporate strategy, M&A, and private equity activities as a journalist and an editor. She manages the Australian bureau, supports Mergermarket’s APAC editorial team, and facilitates cross-platform collaboration under ION Analytics between Mergermarket and sister publications including Debtwire and Infralogic. She previously worked at The Australian and Reuters, starting her Australian journalism career at the Federal Parliamentary Press Gallery in Canberra. Maggie has been based in Sydney since 2013.
Justin Negrin is Head of M&A at Origin Energy. Mr Negrin has over 20 years of mergers & acquisitions experience. Prior to joining Origin in 2020, he was Managing Director and Head of M&A at Deutsche Bank Australia & NZ, where he worked in M&A for approximately 13 years. Earlier in his career he worked as a valuation specialist at PwC and in the Corporate Strategy / M&A team at Mattel, Inc. Mr Negrin holds a Bachelor of Business and a Bachelor of Laws from UTS, Sydney, an MBA from the Anderson School at UCLA, and is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD).
Teresa is a professional non-executive director and chair of audit & risk committees with a portfolio of directorships that includes current and former roles with Seven West Media Ltd, Genex Power Limited, Shine Justice Ltd, Brighter Super, Energy Queensland, Gold Coast Hospital and Health Board Housing Australia. Teresa is a member of the Takeovers Panel and a Fellow of the AICD. Teresa is a former Non-executive Director of UN Women National Committee Australia Ltd and Opera Queensland, a former Chair of each of the Board of Taxation and the Business Law Section of the Law Council of Australia and a former member of the Foreign Investment Review Board. Teresa is also a former partner of each of Ashurst and Deloitte.
