The market anticipates a very dynamic 2025, driven by growth in key sectors related to energy transition and beyond conventional renewables. Building on positive trends in renewable generation, Spain faces significant growth opportunities in other critical sectors essential for the energy transition. To fully capitalise on these opportunities and address existing challenges, such as technical constraints and falling investor returns, regulatory changes will be crucial. With financial investors becoming more and more interested in assets that link renewables with the broader circular economy, the panel will address how this will support Spain's goal of becoming a leading green electrical hub in Europe.

Alejandro has several years of experience in strategic consulting, private equity, and venture capital. He holds a BSc and MSc in Industrial Engineering from UPC and a master’s degree in management and finance from HEC Paris. Alejandro began his career at Ara Partners in Paris, where he supported the investment team on several investment theses and led the post-merger integration of a portfolio company. In 2022, he joined the strategic consulting firm Arthur D. Little, where he worked in the Energy and Telecom team, participating in projects involving strategic assessments, due diligence, and technical and regulatory analysis. Since February 2025, he has been working at Suma Capital within the Net Zero Ventures team. Alejandro’s international experience and multi-industry knowledge provide him with a versatile perspective in investment analysis and strategic advisory.
Esther has more than 24 years of experience in the Insurance Market. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in economics and business administration from San Pablo CEU-Alcalá de Henares University. Insurance Broker Certificate Group A. Master’s degree in insurance Brokerage Management from European University of Madrid. Esther started her career in the Insurance Market at WTW in 2001. Then, in 2006 Esther joined the Project Finance Team as Insurance Advisor for the Lenders. Over the past few years Esther has also worked at Assiteca Insurance Broker, WTW and Asterra Partners. In 2023 she returns to WTW where she has spent most of her professional life, as M&A Due Diligence Consultant and Lenders Insurance Advisory Practice. Her experience, knowledge in risk management and the Insurance Market, provides her a global view for the insurance advice on both M&A and Project Finance projects.
