Adrian Li is an entrepreneur and veteran investor in the Indonesian and Southeast Asian tech industry. As Founder and Managing Partner of AC Ventures, he has invested in over 80 businesses in the past decade, including category leaders such as Stockbit, Shipper, Xendit, Koinworks, Julo, Carsome, and others.
With co-founding experience in both China and Indonesia, Adrian brings a unique perspective and valuable insights to any business. His first startup became the largest live online English training service in China before being acquired in 2010. Adrian then joined Rocket Internet as a Managing Director, building ventures in China and Southeast Asia. In 2014, he launched Convergence Ventures, which later became AC Ventures in 2019.
Adrian graduated from Cambridge University with a BA and MA in Economics and was elected a Hawk in recognition of his contributions to university and national-level judo. He obtained his MBA from Stanford Graduate School of Business.
He is a business mentor at Endeavor, The Founders Institute, and Antler, and is a member of YPO. Adrian is also an endurance race enthusiast having completed over 15 70.3 events and as well as a Full Ironman.
Bondy Lau is a Senior Vice President at GIC’s Infrastructure department, based out of Singapore. He is primarily involved in the origination, managing, and execution of infrastructure investments in North Asia. Prior to joining GIC, Bondy worked for Invesco Private Capital, where he focused on investments across the cleantech, renewable energy, and alternative transportation sectors. Mr. Lau has over 17 years of global experience, working across infrastructure, private equity, and investment banking. Mr. Lau holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Investment Finance and Global Management from the University of Southern California.
Cynthia Haidar is the director for investments at the Doris Duke Foundation. In this capacity, she is responsible for evaluating investment opportunities across multiple asset classes, including liquid alternative strategies, private equity, real estate and private credit investments.
Prior to joining the foundation in 2021, Haidar spent over a decade at Gapstow Capital Partners, a credit-focused multi-manager and advisory firm. At Gapstow, Haidar was involved in various research and operational aspects of the business. She was responsible for portfolio and fund analysis for Gapstow’s discretionary accounts and those of advisory clients. She also led the development and management of some of Gapstow’s alternative credit indices and the in-depth analysis of their constituents. When Gapstow managed discretionary assets, she was a member of the firm's investment committee and valuation committee.
Haidar earned a Master of Science in financial engineering from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Engineering in computer engineering from the Lebanese American University in Lebanon.
Ms. Johns joined the New Jersey Department of the Treasury, Division of Investment in 2023 as the Head of Private Equity. Prior to New Jersey she was a member of the Private Equity team at the Maryland State Retirement and Pension System and is an experienced private markets investor and leader in the U.S. public pension and broader institutional investor community.
Ms. Johns has over 20 years of experience investing and managing multi-billion dollar global portfolios of institutional alternative investment assets. She has deep expertise in private equity and a highly developed personal network with established top performing private equity fund managers and next generation managers. Ms. Johns has a demonstrated long-term track record for selecting and managing strong performing private equity fund portfolios. She is committed to supporting discourse and initiatives focused on the thoughtful advancement of private markets investing and creating pathways to inclusion for underrepresented talent in private equity.

Ms. Johns has both a B.A. in Comparative Literature from Indiana University Bloomington and a B.S. in Computer Info Systems from Stevenson University. She graduated from Loyola University Maryland with a Master's in Finance while working full time as an Associate at Camden Private Capital, a private equity fund of funds.
David Gross is the Co-Managing Partner of Bain Capital, a leading private investment firm with offices on four continents and approximately $185 billion in assets under management. He also serves as Asia Managing Partner. He joined the firm in 2000.
Mr. Gross is a founding member of Bain Capital’s Asia business, having launched and managed the Tokyo office in 2006. He was instrumental in the expansion of the Asia business in the region covering the firm’s activities across the private equity, private credit, special situations, life sciences, and technology businesses. David has led a number of the most prominent transactions in the region over that period including Kioxia (former Toshiba Memory, where he currently serves on the Board), Genpact (NYSE: G), Hero MotorCorp (NSE: HEROMOTOCO), Japan Wind Development, Macromill, Jupiter Shop Channel, Domino’s Pizza Japan, and Uniview Technologies. Prior to that, Mr. Gross was a key member of the team that formed the firm’s industrial and technology investment verticals, having worked on several transactions including UGS PLM Software, Innophos, US Internetworking, and MEI Conlux.
Mr. Gross also led the creation of Bain Capital’s Macro team which provides macroeconomic insights and investment strategies to benefit the broader platform in investment theme development as well as portfolio and risk management.
Prior to Bain Capital, Mr. Gross was a consultant with Bain & Company from 1998-2000 and worked with NEC Corporation in Tokyo from 1992 to 1996.
Mr. Gross received an MBA from Harvard Business School where he was a Baker Scholar and a B.S. from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
Mr. Gross serves on several non-profit boards including the Berklee College of Music, Boston Children’s Hospital Trust Board, the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, the University of Pennsylvania School of Arts and Sciences Board of Overseers, and the advisory boards of the Kelly Writer’s House and the Center for the Advanced Study of India, both at the University of Pennsylvania. He is also a Board member of Atalanta Bergamasca Calcio S.p.A.
As President of Catamaran, Deepak is responsible for driving the overall performance of the firm’s portfolio by formulating and executing its investment strategy, asset allocation, operational and risk management policies and processes.
Deepak has over 30 years of experience in the global IT services and software product industry. He was Executive Vice President, Group Head of Strategy, and the Chief Risk Officer at Infosys Limited (NYSE: INFY) until June 2022. He played various roles at Infosys – including strategy, M&A, venture funding, risk management, business development, software engineering, and project management.
Deepak was a member of the board of Infosys’ software subsidiaries in Israel, the Netherlands, USA, Japan, and India. He was the Vice President of the Indo-Australian Chamber of Commerce, a lead member of the start-up and knowledge management councils of the Confederation of Indian Industry, and a member of the strategy and risk officers’ councils of the World Economic Forum.
In his spare time, he is active in community theatre. Deepak holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Science from the University of Mysore, India.
Doug joined the Guardians of NZ Super in 2018 and is the strategy lead for a variety of asset classes including Private Equity and Hedge Funds as well as having a particular focus on climate solutions. His role straddles asset allocation and portfolio management, with the application of a total portfolio approach being a key focus.
Doug’s career spans over 24yrs where he has held a variety of buy-side and sell-side investment roles. He was Head of Equities for ANZ Private Bank (NZ) before moving to Hong Kong with HSBC (2013-2018) where he spent much of his time in the Global Research division (part of Global Banking & Markets) helping to establish and run their research offering to wealth clients. Originally from the UK, Doug started his career in the technology field.
Doug holds a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Physics from the University of Manchester, UK and an MBA (dist.) from the University of Canterbury.
Doug Coulter joined LGT Capital Partners in 2007 to lead its Asian private equity investment activities. Prior to LGT, Doug was a Senior Investment Officer at the IFC, responsible for direct investments in the TMT, retail & consumer and healthcare sectors. He previously worked at Nomura Securities in Hong Kong and as a lawyer at Fasken in Toronto. He holds an MBA from INSEAD, a M.Sc. from the LSE, a law degree from the University of Western Ontario and a B.A. from Queen’s University in Canada.

Mr CHUE En Yaw is the Chief Investment Officer at Azalea Investment Management Pte. Ltd. and leads the investment team. He is a key member of the team that successfully launched the Astrea transactions and Altrium programmme. Mr Chue joined the Azalea Group in 2018 and was deeply involved in the Astrea Platform since 2014.
Mr Chue joined Temasek in 2010 and was a senior member of the Private Equity Fund Investments team covering fund relationships in Asia as well as global secondaries. At Temasek, Mr Chue played a key role in the launch of the Astrea II transaction in 2014. Prior to joining Temasek, he was with Standard Chartered Private Equity and JAFCO (Asia) Investment for almost 10 years. He started his career as an auditor with Arthur Andersen LLP in 1997. Mr Chue is a Chartered Accountant and a CFA charterholder.
Greg is the Global Co-Head of Private Equity at APG Asset Management US Inc.
Prior to joining APG US, Mr. Jania was a Managing Director, Partner, and member of the investment committee at WP Global Partners, a 25-person, $2 billion private equity firm founded in 2005. WP Global’s clients include sovereign wealth funds, international insurance companies, endowments, and pension plans. WP Global invested in global buyout, debt, and venture funds and was also an active co-investor.
Prior to that, Mr. Jania was a Senior Vice President in the Investment Management Group of GE Commercial Finance, which managed a $2.5 billion private equity portfolio consisting of over 230 buyout, mezzanine, and venture funds and direct equity investments. Prior to joining GE, he was Vice President at One Equity Partners, a subsidiary of Bank One that invested more than $1 billion in private equity funds during his tenure and managed a $2.2 billion private equity portfolio with over 125 fund investments. Mr. Jania started his career in credit analysis and debt underwriting at American National Bank, a subsidiary of Bank One in Chicago.
Mr. Jania received an M.B.A. with honors from the University of Chicago and earned a B.A. in political science and economics, magna cum laude, from Wabash College where he graduated Phi Beta Kappa.
Harvey M. Schwartz is the Chief Executive Officer of Carlyle and member of the Board of Directors. He has served in such capacity since February 15, 2023, and is based in New York.
Mr. Schwartz formerly worked at Goldman Sachs from 1997 to 2018, with his last position being President and Co-Chief Operating Officer. He also held numerous senior leadership positions including Chief Financial Officer and Global Co-Head of the Securities Division. Mr. Schwartz started his career at J. B. Hanauer & Co., and then moved to First Interregional Equity Corporation. In 1989, he joined Citigroup, where he worked in the firm's credit training program and developed a specialty in structuring commodity derivatives.
He serves as the Group Chairperson and Non-Executive Director of The Bank of London, a clearing and payments bank with operations in London and New York City. Mr. Schwartz also serves on the board of SoFi Technologies, Inc., a San Francisco-based fintech company, and One Mind, a nonprofit that accelerates collaborative research and advocacy to enable all individuals facing brain health challenges to build healthy, productive lives. He is involved in a range of investment and philanthropic endeavors that include a focus on mental health and developing future business leaders, including women and young people seeking a career in finance.
Mr. Schwartz earned his BA from Rutgers University, where he is a member of the university’s Board of Governors and its Hall of Distinguished Alumni. He received his MBA from Columbia University.
Jeff leads all aspects of the secondary business, including strategy, investments, fundraising, and portfolio construction. He is principally focused on leading North American secondary opportunities.
Prior to joining Adams Street, he was a strategy consultant with L.E.K. Consulting, where he managed the execution of market-related due diligence for several top-tier private equity firms.
Previously, Jeff worked for two years as an investment associate with William Blair Capital Partners, a Chicago-based private equity fund with $1 billion under management. At WBCP, he participated in all aspects of sourcing, evaluating, executing, and monitoring buyout and growth equity investments. He also has three years of investment banking experience with William Blair & Company and SunTrust Equitable Securities.
Jeff serves on the Advisory Board of several funds within Adams Street’s portfolio. He is also Chair of Adams Street’s Secondary Investment Committee and a member of the Executive Committee

Jeff joined Manulife Investment Management in 2019 as global co-head of secondaries. Along with Paul Sanabria, Jeff leads the global secondaries business focused on general partner-led and special situation transactions, and partners with private equity, private credit, and secondary fund sponsors. Previously, he was co-head of Houlihan Lokey’s illiquid financial assets practice, a unit he co-founded and built into the leading investment banking group focused on customized transactions for holders of illiquid securities. Prior to that role, Jeff was a senior managing director at Bear Stearns, where he founded, built, and co-led Private Equity Advisors, the private equity fund-of-funds and secondary investing unit of Bear Stearns Asset Management. Earlier, he co-founded BDC Financial, a firm that provided customized private equity investment management and advisory services to institutional and high-net-worth investors. Earlier in his career, he held investment banking positions at Morgan Stanley and Goldman Sachs.

Jeffrey Perlman is Chief Executive Officer of Warburg Pincus and is a member of the firm’s Executive Management Group. Prior to his current role, Jeffrey served as President of the firm.
During his tenure at Warburg Pincus, Jeffrey has successfully expanded the firm’s business in Asia Pacific, overseeing the firm’s private equity investing activities in Southeast Asia as well as its real estate business across Asia Pacific. In addition, Jeffrey co-founded and sponsored some of the largest real estate companies in the region, partnering with entrepreneurs to build successful and sustainable companies.
He currently serves or has previously served on the Boards of Directors for numerous leading companies including BW Industrial Development JSC, MoMo, StorHub, Princeton Digital Group Limited, and ESR Group Limited. In addition, Jeffrey is the Chairman of the Board of Directors for the US-ASEAN Business Council, which works to create trade and investment opportunities in the economies of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations.
Prior to joining Warburg Pincus in 2006, Jeffrey worked in the Real Estate Investment Banking group at Credit Suisse. He received a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (BBA) from the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan.
Ms. Benza serves as Investment Manager for the GE Investment Management Corp focused on the private markets. She previously worked for Abbott Capital, where she was most recently a Principal and a member of the Investment Committee. Before joining Abbott, she was a Vice President with DLJ Merchant Banking Partners, an Associate with THL Partners, and a Mergers & Acquisitions Analyst with Merrill Lynch. Ms. Benza received a B.S. in Finance & Accounting from NYU Stern and an MBA from the Harvard Business School.
Josh Stern joined the Investment Office of the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation in January 2012. At the Foundation Mr. Stern is part of the group overseeing all private investments. Mr. Stern came to the Foundation from Rockefeller University where he was responsible for the private investment portfolio. In that role he oversaw a portfolio of Venture Capital, Buyout and Growth Capital and Real Assets investments. Previously he worked at Standard & Poor's as a director in the Higher Education and Not-for-Profit Group, which was part of the Public Finance Department. At S&P Mr. Stern worked closely with a large number of universities and foundations across the United States. Over the course of his career he also worked as an investment banker, focusing on higher education institutions. Mr. Stern received an M.P.A. in public finance from the Maxwell School at Syracuse University, an M.S. in non-profit management from New York University and a B.A. in history and sociology from Binghamton University.
Joycelyn is a Managing Director at ShawKwei & Partners responsible for accelerating the firm's global expansion in clean energy investments.
Joycelyn has over two decades of leadership experience in banking and fintech. During her banking career at Morgan Stanley and UBS, she spearheaded the establishment of new businesses in the APAC region within Global Capital Markets (providing balance sheet solutions for clients), Global Markets (pioneering derivative solutions for Asian currencies and securitized products), and Global Wealth Management (playing a foundational role in the APAC Global Family Office team at UBS). Joycelyn was previously head of global markets for ADDX, a Singapore platform for private market investments.
Over the past eight years, Joycelyn has actively contributed to non-profit organizations focused on philanthropy and sustainability.
Joycelyn is a CPA with a Master’s in Finance from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Commerce from Monash University.
KS is a Director of Investments Monitoring, Stewardship & Sustainability at Khazanah Nasional. His roles at Khazanah previously included coverage of Financial Services, Vietnam and Indonesia. Prior to Khazanah, his work experience includes McKinsey & Co., private equity investments in the education industry, and stints in the development sector and microfinance. KS completed his undergraduate studies at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and holds an MBA from Harvard Business School.
Kristiaan Nieuwenburg is a Partner and joined EQT Partners in March 2013. Kristiaan is Chairman of the Private Equity Portfolio Review Committee and of the EQT Foundation Investment Committee. He is a member of the Equity Partners Investment Committee.
Kristiaan has an M.Sc. in Chemical Engineering from Delft University of Technology and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
Prior to joining EQT Partners, Kristiaan was a Partner at IK Investment Partners in London. Kristiaan started his career at Lehman Brothers in London.
Luca Molinari is an Executive Director who is responsible for global investments in Financial Services as well as investment activities in Asia as part of Mubadala’s Direct Investments platform. Prior to joining Mubadala, Luca was a Partner and Managing Director at Warburg Pincus, where he worked in Europe and in Latin America, leading transactions across a broad range of sectors and geographies. Prior to that, he worked at the Merchant Banking Division and the Investment Banking Division of Goldman Sachs in London.
At Mubadala, Luca has overseen several significant transactions, including an investment in Truist Insurance Holdings, the three-way merger of Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank, Union National Bank and Al Hilal Bank and the sale of a 40% interest in Tabreed to Engie.
Luca holds a degree in Economics and Business Administration from Bocconi University in Milan, and is fluent in English, Italian and Portuguese. He serves on the Board of Directors of Unicredit Spa.
Manish Kejriwal is the Founder and Managing Partner of Kedaara Capital. Kedaara is a private equity firm pursuing control and minority investment opportunities in India. It currently manages over ~US$ 3.6 billion through investments in several market-leading businesses across a variety of sectors, including consumer, financial services, pharma/healthcare, technology / business services and industrials. Kedaara’s operating partner model comprising former CEOs with proven track records of building market leading businesses.

In early 2004, Manish founded the India office of Temasek Holdings Pte. Ltd., where he headed all its investments and other activities till September 2011. During this time, Temasek invested over US$ 4 billion in India. He was a Senior Managing Director and also held multiple responsibilities in Temasek, Singapore.
He was a core member of its senior leadership team and a key member of Temasek Holding’s Senior Management Committee (SMC), and its Senior Investment & Divestment Committee (SIDC). He was also tasked to lead the firm’s global investments in the FIG sector and its investments in Africa, Middle-East and Russia. Manish brings over 30 years of experience in investing, encompassing the full cycle of experiences in private equity across a variety of industries and sectors in private and public companies and consulting.
Prior to Temasek, Manish was a Partner at McKinsey & Company, Inc. and was part of their New York, Cleveland and Mumbai offices. He helped found “The Private Equity Practice” during his years in New York and was instrumental in conceiving and co-authoring the widely followed “NASSCOM McKinsey reports”.
Prior to McKinsey, Manish had worked at the World Bank in Washington D.C. and with Goldman Sachs (Principal Investment/Corporate Finance) in HK.
Manish received an AB from Dartmouth College, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Major in Economics and Engineering Sciences and where he received the Dean’s Plate. He holds an MBA from Harvard University, where he graduated with high distinction as a Baker Scholar.
Manish is currently the lead independent director at Bharti Airtel, on the boards of Bajaj Finserv Limited and Bajaj Holdings Investment Limited and various Kedaara investee companies. He is also a Member of the Governing Board at K Raheja Corp. Over the years, he has been on the boards of various portfolio companies: Temasek Holdings Advisors India, Parksons Packaging, ICICI Onesource, Punj Lloyd, Bharti Infratel, Fullerton Financial Holdings and Fullerton India Credit Company. He is passionate about driving a few select education initiatives, reflected by his ongoing involvement in the United World College movement as a founder trustee at Ashoka University and a former member of the Harvard Alumni Board.
Manish is an active member of the Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO) and was named a Young Global Leader (YGL) by the World Economic Forum. Manish is the Co-chair of the CII National Committee on Private Equity and Venture Capital and was also a member of the Alternative Investments Policy Advisory Committee, constituted by the Securities & Exchange Board of India (SEBI). He has authored various articles on PE in India and has been profiled in various newspapers and periodicals. He is a sought-after speaker at numerous conferences in India, Asia and North America. He was profiled as one of the “25 hottest young executives in India” by Business Today.
Mr. Rowan is a Co-Founder and CEO of Apollo Global Management, Inc. He currently serves on the boards of directors of Apollo Global Management, Inc. and Athene Holding Ltd.. Currently, Mr. Rowan is Chair of the Board of Advisors of the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania. In addition, he is involved in public policy and is an initial funder and contributor to the development of the Penn Wharton Budget Model, a nonpartisan research initiative which provides analysis of public policy’s fiscal impact.
An active philanthropist and civically engaged, Mr. Rowan is Chair of the Board of UJA-Federation of New York, the world’s largest local philanthropy helping 4.5 million people annually while funding a network of nonprofits in New York, Israel, and 70 countries. He is also a founding member and Chair of Youth Renewal Fund and Vice Chair of Darca, Israel’s top educational network operating 47 schools with over 27,000 students throughout its most diverse and under-served communities.
Mr. Rowan graduated summa cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Business with a BS and an MBA in Finance.
Matthew Michelini is Partner, CEO of Asia-Pacific at Apollo and a member of the Firm’s Leadership Team. Matt joined Apollo in 2006 in Private Equity and has played a pivotal role in the creation and success of many of Apollo’s largest growth initiatives, including Athene, Hybrid Value, Apollo Dedicated Insurance Program, Natural Resources, and the development of the Financials Group. Matt serves as Investment Chair for Apollo’s Hybrid Value business and on the board of directors of Athene Holding Ltd. and Venerable Holdings, and previously served on the boards of Aleris Corporation, Metals USA, Noranda Aluminum, One Main Financial, and Warrior Met Coal. Previously, Matt was a member of the Mergers & Acquisitions group at Lazard Frères & Co.
At Navis, Mr Bloy leads investment teams in making, monitoring and exiting investments, sits on Navis’ Investment Committee and sits on the boards and/or executive committees of several Navis portfolio companies.
Prior to co-founding Navis, Mr Bloy worked at Boston Consulting Group in Asia from 1989 to 1999 after spending 3 years with Bain & Co. In London.
He holds a BA Hons degree from University College, London and an MBA from INSEAD, France.
Pam Chan is Managing Partner and Chief Investment Officer of Mosaic at Lingotto. Mosaic launched in Feb 2024 and is anchored by Exor. It is a flexible private market investment strategy pursuing the “weird and wonderful” with a focus on structured downside protection and orthogonal sources of risk.
Previously, she was Chief Investment Officer and Head of Direct Private Opportunities at BlackRock. She served on BlackRock's Global Operating Committee and Alternatives Executive Committee, in addition to a number of investment committees across private market strategies. Ms. Chan's service with the firm began in 2012. She co-founded Alternative Solutions (predecessor group to Direct Private Opportunities) in 2013 and prior to becoming CIO of the group in 2018, she served as a senior portfolio manager and primary deputy to the CIO. Prior to joining BlackRock, Ms. Chan worked as a senior research analyst for the Financial Stability Board, as a Senior Investment Associate at Bridgewater and as a member of the Financial Institutions Group at Goldman, Sachs & Co.
Ms. Chan was recognized in 2020 by the World Economic Forum (WEF) as a Young Global Leader and presented at Davos in 2022. She is a member of the WEF's Women in Finance community and was appointed to the Global Future Council on the Future of Responsible Investing. She was previously nominated as a WEF Global Shaper in 2012, serving as curator for the New York City hub in 2014. Additionally, she was named as a Women of Influence in Private Markets in 2022 (Cross Asset Class) by PEI Media.
She currently co-chairs the Harvard College Schools and Scholarship Committee of New York City and has previously served on the Board of the Harvard Club of New York Foundation and the Harvard Business School (HBS) Alumni Board. Patrick Severson joined Vista Equity Partners in 2013. Mr. Severson is Co-Head of the Vista Foundation Funds and sits on its Investment Committee. Additionally, he serves as a member of Vista’s Executive Committee, the firm’s governing and decision-making body for matters affecting its overall management and strategic direction, and Vista’s Private Equity Management Committee, the firm’s decision-making body for matters affecting Vista’s overall private equity platform. Mr. Severson currently sits on the boards of Assent Compliance, Bonterra, ESO, Granicus, Khoros, Kibo, LogicMonitor, Naviga, Poppulo, Power Factors, Sonatype and Trintech. Paul Sanabria is a Senior Managing Director and Global Co-Head of Secondaries at Manulife Investment Management. Mr. Sanabria has more than 25 years of experience in principal investing and investment banking. Prior to Manulife, he was Co-Head of Houlihan Lokey’s Illiquid Financial Assets practice, a unit he co-founded and built into the leading advisory group focused on customized transactions for holders of illiquid securities. Previously, Mr. Sanabria was Senior Managing Director at Bear Sterns Asset Management where he co-led the private equity fund and secondary investing unit. Earlier, Mr. Sanabria was co-founder of BDC Financial Inc., a firm that provided customized private equity investment management and advisory services to institutional and high-net-worth investors, which he sold to Bear Stearns. Mr. Sanabria received a B.S. in Engineering from California State University, Sacramento and an MBA from Harvard University.
Preet Chawla is senior director at Carnegie Corporation of New York, responsible for manager selection, across the Corporation’s public and private portfolios.
Prior to joining the Corporation, Preet was research director at Benchmark Plus Management, responsible for manager selection across hedge fund portfolios. Previously, he was an investment manager at the Institute for Advanced Study, where he was responsible for partnerships with both public and private managers; vice president at Canterbury Consulting, where he led the hedge fund research efforts; and an analyst for Attalus Capital and UBP Asset Management.
Preet was a dual major at the University of California, Davis, graduating with a BS in applied mathematics and a BA in economics, and obtained an MBA degree from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business. He is also a CFA Charterholder.
Purnima Gandhi has over 15 years of global experience in investment banking, private equity and public equity focused on energy and climate technologies. She has worked across cultures and countries such India, UK and Singapore.
She has been with the investments and portfolio development team at Temasek International, Singapore for 11 years. Prior to this she was in Citigroup in Energy Investment Banking in London.

Raymond joined CPPIB in October 2019 and leads our Asia credit business. He is the chair of the APAC Credit Committee and a member of our Global Credit Committee. He is also the co-chair of the Credit Committee of The HKVCA. Prior to joining CPP Investments, he was a managing director at SSG Capital, responsible for special situations investments and secured lending in Greater China.
Previously, Raymond was the head of Greater China at Intermediate Capital Group, senior fund manager at RAB Capital and head of Asia Asset Management at D.B. Zwirn. He started his career with HSBC, departing as a team head of the Real Estate Sector.

Saima Rehman is responsible for leading investments in private equity and venture capital funds, and managing portfolio in the East Asia Pacific region. Before joining the Funds group, her experience covered principal investments, syndications and structured finance covering South Asia with IFC and prior to that with IDLC Bangladesh. She has an MBA from INSEAD.
Mr. Samson Wong is responsible for managing all private markets investments at the Exchange Fund Investment Office of the HKMA. Mr. Wong currently leads a team of more than 40 professionals covering investments across private equity and real estate.
Mr. Wong has more than 20 years’ experience in the financial and investment industry. Prior to the HKMA, Mr. Wong held various positions at major investment banks, including RBS, UBS and JPMorgan.
Mr. Wong is a graduate from the Kellogg-HKUST Executive MBA program and received his B.S. in Finance and Information System from Boston College.
Sanjay Nath is Co-founder and Managing Partner at Blume Ventures, one of India's leading early-stage venture funds. Blume focuses on Seed to Pre-Series A stages of funding and has made over 100 investments across its 10-year history across multiple funds. Sanjay leads SaaS and cross-border investing amongst other verticals at Blume. He has invested in and advises a wide portfolio of startups including GreyOrange Robotics, Dataweave, Locus, Tricog, Yulu, Lambdatest, Pixxel, Sprinto, Nektar.ai and Obviously.ai amongst others.
Prior to Blume, Sanjay held consulting and management roles at Sun Microsystems, PwC and IBM Global Services (all in Silicon Valley). Sanjay got his start in venture capital as an active angel investor through Mumbai Angels. His angel investments include InMobi, LittleEye Labs (acquired by Meta / Facebook), Tonbo Imaging and Svasti Microfinance amongst others. Sanjay holds an undergraduate degree from BITS Pilani and an MBA from UCLA’s Anderson School of Management. Sanjay is based in San Francisco.
Scott Ramsower leads the Private Equity Funds Team at the Teacher Retirement System of Texas (TRS). Through his role at TRS, Scott has oversight responsibilities for the group’s approximately $33 billion private equity fund investment portfolio. In addition, he is a member of the Private Equity Investment Committee and Management Committee, through which he assists in the strategy and development of the overall private equity team and portfolio. Scott is also a member of the ILPA Board of Directors and an ILPA Faculty Member, helping to educate fellow practitioners in the private equity industry.
Prior to joining TRS in 2010, Scott was in the New York office of AlpInvest Partners, a leading private equity investor with over €35 billion in AUM. At AlpInvest, Scott focused on evaluating new private equity fund commitments to various strategies around the globe. Prior to AlpInvest, Scott was an associate in the equity research department of Morgan Stanley. Previously, he also worked in the consulting practice at PricewaterhouseCoopers.

Shane Chesson is Founder and Partner of Openspace Ventures (formerly NSI Ventures), a Singapore-headquartered VC focused on Series A and B investments in Southeast Asia-based technology companies. Selected Openspace investments overseen by Mr. Chesson include Go-Jek, Chope, Tradegecko, CXA, Topica, Oway, HaloDoc, Sale Stock and Pathao. Mr. Chesson was previously Managing Director and Co-Head (Technology Investment Banking, of Citigroup Asia-Pacific.

Shawn Wischmeier joined Margaret A. Cargill Philanthropies in March 2012 as chief investment officer of the grantmaking entities under the Margaret A. Cargill Philanthropies umbrella. Shawn manages an internal team of investment professionals responsible for the investment strategy of all portfolios.
Shawn previously was chief investment officer of the North Carolina Department of State Treasurer, where he was responsible for approximately $90 billion in assets under management. Before joining NCRS, he was chief investment officer of the $17 billion Indiana Public Employees’ Retirement Fund (Indiana PERF). Prior to joining Indiana PERF, Shawn was with Eli Lilly and Company’s Global Treasury group, where he held a variety of roles focused primarily on low-duration fixed income investments, asset-liability management, global working capital management, and pension management.
Shawn earned a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology. He has an MBA degree from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern, where he majored in analytical finance, and a master's degree in manufacturing management from Northwestern University's McCormick School of Engineering. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation. Shawn is a member of the Board of Directors for Camp Fire Minnesota and a Member of the Investment Advisory Council for the Minnesota State Board of Investment.
Mr. Cammock focuses on private equity investment activity. Mr. Cammock has expertise in underwriting primary funds, middle market buyout co-investments, secondary opportunities, and direct investments. Mr. Cammock has a particular focus on engagement with diverse sponsors and managers, with a heightened focus on emerging and next generation talent. Throughout his career he has evaluated and transacted across buyout, special situations, growth equity, and venture capital, including seed investment opportunities. Mr. Cammock is a leader in deal sourcing and client relationship management and services a variety of institutional clients across North America and Western Europe. Prior to GCM Grosvenor, Mr. Cammock worked at Credit Suisse in the Customized Fund Investment Group where he engaged in similar investment activities. Mr. Cammock is a recipient of the 2015 National Association of Investment Companies (NAIC) Rising Star Award. Mr. Cammock received his Bachelor of Arts in History from Yale University.
Steve Duncan is a Managing Director at TPG Capital Asia based in Melbourne and has been with TPG since 2020. Steve is the current Chairman of Made Group, one of Australia’s largest healthy food and beverage businesses. He also sits on the Board of iNova Pharmaceuticals and was previously a director of logistics software company Containerchain.
Prior to joining TPG, Steve worked with CPE Capital across their Australia and Singapore offices for approximately nine years.

Susanne Forsingdal has served as Head of the New York investment team at Allianz Capital Partners, GmbH since January 2015. She represents ACP on the advisory boards of a number of Private Equity Funds. Prior to joining ACP, Ms. Forsingdal headed the New York team of ATP Private Equity Partners. Previously she worked in equity research, strategy and investor relations with Copenhagen based banks and insurance companies. Thomas Cockburn is Senior Director, Corporate Credit at CDPQ. Mr. Cockburn has responsibility over origination and execution of private credit opportunities in the U.S. and Canada. In addition, he is engaged in the development and monitoring of the private debt investment strategy and portfolio.
Before joining CDPQ, Mr. Cockburn worked for Power Corporation of Canada, a diversified holding company with a focus on financial services, where he was responsible for mergers & acquisitions as well as corporate finance activities for the holding’s portfolio companies. Prior to this, he spent 8 years at GE Capital, successively in real estate M&A and in leveraged finance roles. During his tenure at the company, he was involved in the creation of Mubadala GE Capital, a structured finance joint venture between Abu Dhabi state fund Mubadala and GE Capital. He later joined Mubadala GE Capital’s investments team as a Vice-President and was responsible for executing leveraged and structured finance transactions in the U.S. and Europe. Prior to his time at GE Capital, he started his career in investment banking at Desjardins Securities.

Tommy Teo serves on the Venture Capital team at Cercano and leads the Southeast Asia investment team based in Singapore.
Prior to Cercano, Tommy was an Executive Director with Northstar where he focused on growth and technology opportunities in Southeast Asia. Previously, Tommy was an investment banker with Citigroup in Singapore, and with Perella Weinberg Partners and Bear, Stearns & Co. Inc. in New York. Tommy was also an analyst at hedge fund sponsor Capital Z Asset Management.

Yup S. Kim serves as the Chief Investment Officer for Texas’ $41 billion municipal retirement system (TMRS) and chairs its staff investment committee. Previously, he served as the Head of Investments for Private Equity at CalPERS, California’s $490 billion pension fund, where he helped lead the $60 billion private equity program across all functions, including strategy, team management, and investment activities across primary, secondary, and co-investment opportunities globally. Previously, he served as the Senior Portfolio Manager at the Alaska Permanent Fund Corporation, an $80 billion sovereign wealth fund, where he helped lead its private investment activities. The private equity and special opportunities portfolio generated 25% net of fee returns over a decade. He has also held positions at DB Private Equity, where he served on the Investment Committee, Performance Equity, and Silver Point Capital, and he began his career at Citigroup in New York. Kim received his B.A. in Economics from Yale University, speaks six languages, and serves as Chair for the Milken Institute Rising Allocator forum. He serves as a Board Member of the Korea Finance Society, a Term Member for the Council of Foreign Relations, a Global Investment Ambassador for the Seoul Metropolitan Government and a Visiting Lecturer at Harvard Business School, The Wharton School, Yale University, and many other academic institutions.
