Stuart is head of the Client Solutions Group in Asia Pacific within Goldman Sachs Asset Management. He is responsible for the institutional and retail client businesses across alternative and traditional asset classes in the region. Prior to this, Stuart served as head of Alternatives Capital Markets & Strategy in Asia Pacific from 2019 to 2023, where he led alternatives capital raising across the region. From 2006 to 2019, Stuart was based in Dubai, where he was head of the Securities Division for the Middle East and North Africa and provided coverage to Middle Eastern sovereign wealth funds. Before relocating to Dubai in 2006, he spent five years as an equity salesperson in London. Stuart joined Goldman Sachs in 2001 as an analyst, was named managing director in 2010 and partner in 2022.
Stuart earned a BA in Politics, Philosophy and Economics from Trinity College, Oxford University, in 2001.
