CloseKunal is a Partner in Pantheon’s Asia Investment team and member of Pantheon’s Asia and Global Investment Committees. Kunal leads sourcing, evaluation, completion and monitoring of primary, secondary and co-investment opportunities across Asia Pacific markets and sits on several LP Advisory Boards in the region. Prior to joining Pantheon, Kunal was at a middle-market direct private equity investment firm, before which he worked at CITI Group and ICICI Bank. He has an Masters from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi and a bachelor’s degree in engineering. Kunal chairs the Limited Partners Council and is an Executive Council member for the India Venture Capital Association (IVCA).
Gaurav Ahuja is a Senior Partner at ChrysCapital and has been with the firm since 2004. He is responsible for the LP Relations and Fundraising functions at ChrysCapital. Mr. Ahuja is a member of the Investment Committee and until recently was part of ChrysCapital’s Business Services investment team. Prior to joining ChrysCapital, he was in the M&A group at Lazard Freres in San Francisco and Merrill Lynch in New York. Mr. Ahuja received an MBA from INSEAD and a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce and Economics from the University of Virginia.
Imran is a Managing Partner at Gaja Capital. He is responsible for investing activities, operations and team development. At Gaja Capital, Imran leads investments in the Education, Software and Consumer clusters. He has been closely involved with Gaja Capital’s investments in Amber Student (Global marketplace for student accommodation), Signzy (SaaS platform for BFSI), LeadSquared (Sales automation SaaS platform), Ei (B2B Learning Software), Sportz Village (Youth Sports), Lighthouse Learning (Pre-K and K-12), John Distilleries (AlcoBev) and CL Educate (Supplemental Education.
He holds a master’s of science degree in software engineering from the Birla Institute of Technology & Science, Pilani, Rajasthan and has completed a post-graduate diploma in management from Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore, Karnataka. He has over 26 years of experience in various industries which includes 19 years of experience in private equity.
Mr. Kumaraswamy is a Partner at L Catterton based in India. He joined L Catterton in 2025 following around 27 years at Unilever PLC Group, where he held various roles culminating with him being the Group’s Global Head of Corporate Development and Treasury, leading its strategic capital allocation and portfolio development initiatives, as well as spearheading deal sourcing and execution. Other roles Mr. Kumaraswamy held at the Group over the years span several business segments, functions, and geographies in strategic oversight, financial leadership, and operational transformation capacities.
He is a Non-Executive Director at Scottish Mortgage Investment Trust PLC and a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.
Sakshi Mehra is a Partner heading the General Corporate, Transactional and Banking & Finance practice of the Kolkata office of SAM & Co.
Sakshi specializes in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, private equity, joint ventures, financing and other strategic transactions. Over her 18 years of private practice experience, she has advised several national and multi-national clients on a broad range of legal issues including general corporate and commercial law matters, foreign investment and entry strategies, securities and takeover laws, joint venture formation, share and asset acquisitions and dispositions and regulatory issues. Ms. Mehra has represented various foreign and Indian corporates across diverse industry sectors. This includes advising strategic and financial investors, Indian promoters and foreign entities interested in establishing collaborations or a foothold in India.
She was recognised among 40 under 40 Rising Stars by Legal Era, 2020. She was among Top 10 Global Deal Makers in terms of deal volume on Mergermarket annual Individual league table with 26 deals to her credit in 2020. She was also featured in the Top 100 Individual Lawyers in the Forbes Legal Powerlist, 2022.
She has particular experience in financing transactions and has advised banks/financial institutions on general lending, corporate finance, project finance transactions and external commercial borrowings.
Before permanently shifting to Kolkata from Mumbai and joining the Firm in mid-2012, Sakshi has worked at Desai & Diwanji, Mumbai for 10 years. Sakshi received her LL.B from Government Law College, University of Mumbai and is also a Solicitor registered with the Bombay Incorporated Law Society.
