Pacific Equity Partners Fund VII (Pacific Equity Partners)
Pacific Equity Partners closed its seventh Australia and New Zealand-focused fund on AUD 3.2bn (USD 2.1bn) in July 2025, exceeding the AUD 3bn target and the AUD 2.5bn raised for Fund VI. A first close of nearly AUD 1bn came in April 2024, on the heels of the formal launch. By March 2025, the vehicle was oversubscribed, so several months were spent cutting back certain investors. Nearly every existing LP re-upped, and they account for 78% of the corpus. New additions include two pension funds – from South Korea and Canada – making their first private equity commitments to an Australian manager.
