Mark is Chief Project Officer and is responsible for the development and delivery of EnergyCo’s program of projects.
Mark joined EnergyCo in 2023 and has been delivering projects for 30 years. Prior roles have included 16 years at John Laing Group (based largely in London) where he held a variety of senior roles managing and delivering major greenfield infrastructure projects. He was Chief Risk Officer for the Group and served on their Group Investment Committee, Executive Committee and Risk Committee. Prior to this Mark worked for international contractors in the design, construction, financing, and maintenance of projects including 10 years at ALSTOM and 3 years at UGL.
Matt was appointed as Chair of the authority on 5 August 2024 for a term of 5 years. He was previously the Member for Hornsby in the NSW Parliament from 2011 until 2 August 2024.
Matt was most recently the NSW Shadow Minister for Health. He was Deputy Leader of the NSW Liberal party from August 2022 until March 2023. Throughout his 13-year political career, Matt also held ministries of Innovation and Better Regulation, Treasury, Energy and Environment.
As Treasurer and Energy Minister of NSW, Matt championed climate action that is in the best interests of households and businesses. In 2020, he delivered the Electricity Infrastructure Roadmap: A 20-year plan for NSW’s energy infrastructure. The roadmap spurs private investment in renewable energy while reducing emissions and power bills for the people of NSW.
Matt commenced in the role of Director, Regulatory Affairs and Strategic Partnerships at Wollemi Capital on 15 August 2024.
Matt studied a Bachelor of Business at the University of Technology Sydney and is a Chartered Accountant by profession.
Marc Benscher is a Director and a Fund Manager in the Igneo Infrastructure Partners team. He is based in Sydney and has been with the business since 2007. Marc is primarily responsible for the management of the Wholesale Infrastructure Income Fund (WIIF) and other mandate accounts, including portfolio construction, client engagement and strategy. Marc is also involved in deal origination and asset management for our funds and mandates; namely in waste management and recovery sectors. Marc sits on the Boards for Integrated Waste Services (IWS) and WM New Zealand (WMNZ)
Marc joined from the Commonwealth Bank of Australia where he spent three years performing roles in the treasury, investment due diligence and internal consulting functions of the Bank.
Marc has a Master of Applied Finance from Macquarie University and a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of New South Wales.
Chloé is Head of Unlisted Assets and Private Equity at Colonial First State, where she oversees CFS’s unlisted assets program. Chloé has 17 years of combined experience in investing, mergers and acquisitions and asset governance, including at Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec (CDPQ) and AustralianSuper. Prior to this, Chloé spent six years in Paris, France, where she worked at a global infrastructure contractor focussing on PPP bids, execution and delivery across Northern Europe. Her expertise is in leading teams in private markets transactions as well as bringing strategic, financial and governance principles to broader asset management. Chloé is also an experienced company director and has held directorships on the boards of Westconnex, Plenary, Port of Brisbane, Sydney Metro and Transurban Queensland.

He has been recognised as a four-time Barron’s Top 100 Adviser and twice as a finalist in the Association of Financial Advisers’ “Adviser of the Year Award.” David has also completed an Executive Education course at Stanford Business School.
David is the creator and host of Inside the Rope, a top wealth management podcast ranked in the top 1% of podcasts globally. Through engaging discussions with industry experts and thought leaders, David shares insights that empower listeners to better understand wealth creation and management strategies.
In addition to his advisory work, David contributes to several leadership roles. He serves on the board of Graphite Energy, an innovative company in the energy transition sector. He is also an active member of the St Joseph's College Foundation, where he chairs the indigenous bursary program and serves on the Investment Committee.
Matthew Dive is a Associate Portfolio Manager in the Infrastructure team at Aware Super. He has more than a decade experience investing in, advising and managing infrastructure businesses. Matthew covers several of Aware's digital investments including Vocus, 2degrees and Switch Data Centres. Previously, Matthew was a Manager at John Laing, a global investor and active manager of core infrastructure assets. Earlier in his career, Matthew worked at PwC in the Deals practice.
Shaun is managing editor, APAC, for Infralogic. Prior to that he was deputy editor, news editor and senior reporter at Infralogic where he has covered Australia, NZ and Asia for eight years. Prior to that, he worked as a reporter and editor at The Australian Financial Review for eight years. His roles there included editor of CFO magazine, reporter on AFR Dealbook and financial services reporter for the Companies and Markets section of the AFR.
Gillian joined JBWere in May 2019 and is Head of Alternative Investments and Responsible Investing (RI), in addition to being an Executive Director of the firm. As Head of Alternatives, Gillian leads the Alternatives strategy, investing selection and execution across Private Equity, Private Debt, Real Assets including Infrastructure and Property and Uncorrelated Assets. Gillian also leads the further expansion of JBWere’s approach to Responsible Investing spanning ESG, ethical/impact investing, and stewardship of capital. Prior to joining JBWere, Gillian held senior multi-asset global investment and structuring roles on trading floors, working across Europe, North America, Asia, Africa and the Middle East, within Standard Chartered Bank (SCB) and Bank of Montreal (BMO) Capital Markets. Gillian was also the global structuring sustainability lead for capital markets in both SCB and BMO. Gillian’s roles have included leading sales and structuring for SCB’s Alternative Asset Group (AUM +USD 2bio) in London, in addition to leading and designing multi-asset investment solutions across Fixed Income, Equities, FX, Alternatives, Credit, Commodities and Responsible Investments (RI) for Institutional, Private Bank and High Net Worth clients.

Gary is a Chartered Accountant, holds a Masters of Applied Finance from Macquarie University, a Masters in Computer Science and a Batchelor of Civil Engineering.
Peter supports the development and execution of IFM Investors’ asset management framework and strategy, and providing leadership, training and support to deliver asset management excellence for the Australian infrastructure portfolio.
Peter has diverse experience, having worked across the oil, mining and telecommunication industries. Prior to joining IFM Investors, Peter worked at OZ Minerals, initially as Senior Business Analyst and later as Acting Head of Investor and External Relations. Previously, he worked as a Senior Commercial Analyst at Telstra and a Business Analyst at Anglo American. Peter is an alternative board member of NSW Ports.
Darren is a Senior Managing Director with Stonepeak. Before joining Stonepeak, Darren was a Senior Managing Director and Global Head of Telecommunications, Media & Technology (TMT) with Macquarie Capital having joined Macquarie Group from Bankers Trust Australia in 1999. During his 25-year career at Macquarie, Darren worked across various industries and geographies including being based in London for ten years. Since 2011, Darren has been located in Sydney and focused on opportunities in Asia Pacific. He was a member of Macquarie Capital’s Global Executive Committee as well as a board member for several operating subsidiaries. Darren received a Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Laws (Honors) from the Australian National University.
Danny Latham is a Partner in the Igneo Infrastructure Partners team. He is based in Sydney and has been with the business since 2007. Danny is primarily responsible for GDIF portfolio management and business development including fundraising and deal origination. Danny is a member of the infrastructure investments Senior Management Team and the GDIF, EDIF I and II Investment Committees. Danny currently sits on the board of directors of coNEXA . Prior to joining the team, Danny was director of RREEF Infrastructure based in London and Sydney, with responsibilities for portfolio management, asset acquisition and asset management and was Senior Partner and a foundation member of AMP’s infrastructure team in 1994. Danny has a Masters of Applied Finance and a Bachelor of Economics from Macquarie University, Sydney.
Sam Reynolds established Octopus Australia in 2018. Octopus Australia operates under three main pillars which we believe are key to the energy transition, (i) Energy Infrastructure, (ii) Fund management; and (iii) Asset & Community Management. As CEO, Sam’s role is to lead Octopus’ culture and drive its mission to harness capital and expertise to accelerate the energy transition. Today Octopus Australia has a team 60 people, and offices in Melbourne and Sydney and has created multi-$billion fund management and energy development business.
Kevork is a Managing Director at OMERS Infrastructure, based in Sydney. He is responsible for leading the origination, execution, and management of OMERS Infrastructure’s activities in the telecommunications/digital infrastructure and energy sectors in Australia and New Zealand. Kevork currently serves as a Director of Waveconn and FRV Australia.
David is co-founder and Managing Partner of Quinbrook Infrastructure Partners, a multi-award winning, specialist investment manager focused exclusively on the new infrastructure needed to drive the energy transition in Australia, the US and the UK. Quinbrook and its affiliates are owners, developers, constructors, operators and business builders across a diverse range of investments from renewable power supply solutions, storage, electricity retailing, community energy networks, biomass and anerobic digestion fuelled energy solutions, grid support, demand response and flexibility services through to the algorithmic optimisation of dispatchable assets using advanced AI data science. Adam Stapledon is the Head of Banking & Finance at Corrs Chambers Westgarth. He has over 25 years’ experience advising sponsors, borrowers and lenders in Australia and the Asia Pacific region, focusing on transactions across the infrastructure, renewables, energy and resources sectors.
Adam is consistently recognised as a leading lawyer by respected industry publications such as Chambers Asia-Pacific and Chambers Global, Best Lawyers and Legal 500. He has lectured on syndicated lending at the University of Sydney and is a member of the APLMA project finance sub-committee.
Kevin has more than 25 years of financial markets and investment management experience in Australia and overseas. Prior to joining LGT Crestone as Deputy Chief Investment Officer, Kevin was the Acting Chief Investment Officer and Deputy CIO at LGIAsuper (now Brighter Super), a $31 billion superannuation fund based in Brisbane. Prior to the merger between LGIAsuper and Energy Super, Kevin was the Chief Investment Officer at Energy Super.
At LGT Crestone, Kevin plays a key role in leading and managing the Investment team, along with having specific responsibilities within Alternatives, Sustainable Investment and Portfolio Construction along with overseeing all fund research.
Kevin’s roles prior to Energy Super included Head of Real Assets and Alternatives/Senior Portfolio Manager and Acting Chief Investment Officer at VicSuper, and Portfolio Manager roles at Morningstar Investment Management (formerly Ibbotson Associates) and QIC. He also ran a boutique investment firm providing consulting advice and multi-manager portfolios to clients. Kevin holds a Bachelor of Business (Accounting and Finance).
Kirsten joined QIC in early 2010 and has overall responsibility for portfolio management across QIC Infrastructure’s pooled products, separately managed accounts, and large co-investors. Her role is focused on infrastructure investment management with a particular focus on investment origination, asset management, governance and structuring, together with portfolio construction and analytics, research and thought leadership, and managing overall client relationships. Kirsten is a Portfolio Manager for one of QIC’s flagship funds and is also a member of the QIC Infrastructure Investment Committee, QIC Infrastructure Investment Management Committee and Origination Leadership Team. Since joining QIC, Kirsten has had a broad exposure to a variety of sub-sectors from both an investment origination and asset management perspective. This has included being an integral part of the teams that successfully acquired Port of Melbourne, Epic Energy South Australia, Heathrow Toggle and implementing the strategy for the US public private partnership investments. She has also held asset management roles in the transport and utilities sectors, in particular with respect to Brisbane Airport, Port of Brisbane and Thames Water. Kirsten has played a key role in the build out of the QIC Global Infrastructure Fund, including additional capital raises and co-investor support to fund the growth of existing platform businesses. Prior to working with QIC, Kirsten worked at Virgin Group in London for two years where she evaluated and managed a portfolio of investments in various sectors, including renewable energy, telecommunications, healthcare and aviation. Previously, Kirsten was a corporate solicitor at King & Wood Mallesons where she had experience in mergers and acquisitions, joint venture arrangements, corporate restructurings and acting for investors in infrastructure and resource projects. Kirsten holds a Bachelor of Commerce/Bachelor of Law (Hons) from the University of Queensland and a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice from the College of Law, New South Wales. |
Ken Wong joined EQT Partners in October 2018 and is the Head of Asia Pacific, Infrastructure.
Prior to joining EQT, Ken worked at Affinity Equity Partners focusing on private equity investments in the technology, media, telecommunications and consumer sectors. Prior to Affinity, Ken worked at Macquarie Capital, based in Melbourne.
