Which awards can I enter?
All the categories are open for entries/nominations and they are free to enter.
What is the deadline to enter the awards?
The deadline for written submissions is 1 August 2025
What is the timeframe for my submission?
Your full submission should cover the timeframe of 1 July 2024 - 30 June 2025.
What do I need to submit?
1. Executive summary – This will be distributed to the public for voting and will be placed on our awards website.
2. Full submission – Seen only by the judging panel and treated as confidential. It will not be published without written permission.
Is the length the Executive Summary set in stone?
Yes, the form limits the input to 250 words. Judges are looking for concise, well-explained entries and disregard overly long or generic submissions.
What are the size definitions for "Small-Cap Exit of the Year" and "Mid-Market Exit of the Year"?
Small-Cap: EV under £50m. Mid-Market: EV between £50m and £500m at the time of entry.
What firms qualify for the “House of the Year” awards?
Private equity houses with a UK office and a track record of focusing on the UK during the judging period.
How are winners determined?
Judges review and shortlist entries in early September. The Public vote on the shortlist. Final winners are chosen based on both judging and voting.
Will my submission be made public?
Only the executive summary is made public. All other content remains confidential and is only shared with judges.
Can I add graphics or documents?
No. Due to high volume, no attachments are accepted, though you can include links.
Can I submit in a different format?
No. Only submissions through the online service will be accepted.
What are judges looking for?
Evidence of innovation and success, especially qualitative insight. Tie numbers to impact. Show how your service improved during the timeframe.
What makes a winning submission?
Clear innovation, client focus, and relevance to the period. Judges dislike vague claims or achievements outside the eligible timeframe.
Can I include client quotes?
Yes, if you have them. They add colour but are not essential.
Is all submission info confidential?
Only the executive summary is shared publicly. The rest remains confidential and seen only by the judging panel.
