Placement Agent of the Year

This award is open to placement agents that have advised on fundraising involving the UK private equity market within the qualifying period of July 2024 to June 2025. For this award, the judges are only looking for information related to private equity (which we categorise as buyout, minority, growth and secondaries), applicants should not submit any information relating to other asset classes, including but not limited to real estate, venture capital, infrastructure and private credit. Firms may be headquartered outside the UK but must have played a demonstrable role in UK-related deals.

  1. Executive Summary – 250 word count max.
  2. Describe in detail one case study where your firm offered advice to a client on a UK-based fundraise. This should show how the client benefitted and how your practice or offering has adapted during the judging period to deal with market conditions. – 550 word count max.
  3. How many private equity funds did you work on during the judging period that are domiliciled or headquartered in the UK? – Numerical answers only.
  4. What percentage change does this represent on the same criteria from the year prior? – Numerical answers only.
  5. What was their aggregate size in GBP? – Numerical answers only.
  6. What percentage change does this represent on the same criteria from the year prior? – Numerical answers only.
  7. How many private equity funds did you work on during the judging period in the rest of Europe? – Numerical answers only.
  8. What percentage change does this represent on the same criteria from the year prior? – Numerical answers only.
  9. List all of the funds (across asset classes) in the UK and Europe that you have worked on in the judging period, explaining which are new or existing clients.
