Small Cap Buyout House of the Year

This award recognises fundraising and deal activity of sponsors that deploy at the lower end of the market. Applicants should be headquartered in the UK or see a majority of deal activity in the UK. Qualifying period is July 2024 to June 2025.

Questions

1. Executive summary – 250 words max.
2. Describe in detail one case study where your firm supported a UK-based portfolio company either through value creation (if current) or to prepare for exit. This should show how your practice or offering has adapted during the judging period to deal with market conditions. – 550 words max.
3. Name and briefly describe all UK-based investments (platform and bolt-on) and exits you achieved during the judging period.
4. Describe your strongest exit in the judging period, including return figures and exit dynamics.
5. Highlight any changes to your team and how this is relevant to adapting market conditions, including IR, portfolio management and executive level plus any other functions deemed relevant.
6. Provide details of your last vehicle raised and how much capital from this has been deployed in the judging period.
7. Highlight any ways deemed relevant in how you've changed your working relationship with your LPs in the period, for example in reporting practices.
