Christian Dobson is a Portfolio Manager in the Alternatives team at Border to Coast Pensions Partnership where he helps to manage the private equity programme. He joined the pool from Nationwide Building Society, where he was part of the internal investment team for Nationwide Pension Fund. He has experience across a range of asset classes including fixed income, equities, real estate and alternatives, with a particular focus on private equity, private credit and infrastructure fund investments.
Imogen is a Partner and Head of Primaries in Pantheon’s European Private Equity team, and also head of the firm’s portfolio strategy and treasury & fund management teams. Prior to Pantheon Imogen worked on small and mid-market private equity and mezzanine transactions for Anglo Irish Bank in Dublin. She holds a master’s degree in natural sciences from Cambridge University.
Kezia Kho is Senior Private Equity Reporter at Mergermarket, covering LP and GP activity across Europe, with a focus on primaries and secondaries fundraising, fund performance, capital deployment and sponsor exits.
Laura is a Partner at Asante, who manages a number of the firm’s European fundraisings and maintains relationships with investors throughout Europe, Asia and North America. Before joining Asante, Laura worked as a lawyer at Clifford Chance as part of the Private Funds Group where she advised general partners on the establishment, fundraising and operation of private equity, credit and infrastructure funds, and also advised limited partners on their commitments to such funds. Laura holds a BSc with first class honours in Economics and Management from the University of Bristol and an LLB from the College of Law. She is a qualified Solicitor in England and Wales.
Narinder is Co-Head of the CMS Global Private Equity team and has extensive experience in advising on all facets of private capital transactions, both within the UK and internationally. Renowned for his deep sector knowledge and commercial acumen, Narinder has advised private equity sponsors, infrastructure funds, and other financial investors on some of the PE Group’s most significant and high-profile deals in the market over the past year. His clients consistently commend his ability to navigate complex transactions with clarity and precision, ensuring their strategic objectives are seamlessly integrated into every stage of the deal process. Narinder’s reputation for delivering exceptional results and his commitment to clients make him a valued and trusted adviser in the PE market.
Frank Bulman is a Portfolio Manager at Aware Super and leads the London branch of their global private equity team. With nearly two decades of investment experience, he has held senior roles at RJD Partners and Averroes Capital has led investments across sectors including education, healthcare, software and consumer tech, with a strong focus on mid-cap and lower mid-cap markets.
Heading global data and research operations for Financial Sponsors and Funds coverage across ION Analytics and brands such as Unquote and AVCJ. Started at Mergermarket in 2018, with the role of ensuring data accuracy and consistency through criteria development, definition refinement, and reconciliation efforts for Financial Sponsors, Portfolio and Funds.

Charles is a managing partner of Bowmark and co-chairman of the Investment Committee. He established Bowmark in 1997 and has jointly led the business with Kevin Grassby since 2000. Prior to Bowmark, he worked in investment banking with Morgan Stanley in London and New York, and in strategic management consultancy with the Boston Consulting Group.
Ian Sale is one of the London Team heads on HSBC’s Middle Market Financial Sponsors team. He has over 20 years’ experience in the leveraged finance arena. Ian and his team provide senior debt, working capital and super senior facilities for private equity investments in the UK and overseas. Ian has served on the Member Engagement Advisory Committee of the BVCA and is an external guest speaker on debt at the CASS Business School, London for their Private Equity MBA module.
