Matteo joined IGI in 2010, after having worked for over 6 years as a Partner of Synergo, a private equity firm which he co-founded in 2004. Prior to joining Synergo, he spent 6 years, covering various investment banking roles. Matteo started his professional career with Arthur Andersen in Milan in 1996. Matteo graduated in Economics and Commerce from the University of Pavia and received his Master in Corporate Finance from the SDA Bocconi School of Management.
Francesco is Co-Head of Consumer and Head of Italy at Permira and focuses on investment opportunities in the consumer sector. He has worked on a number of transactions including KWay, Gruppo Florence, Golden Goose, La Piadineria, Arcaplanet, eDreams OdigeO, Sushiro, Marazzi Group and Valentino. He sits on Gruppo Florence, Golden Goose and Kway Boards. Francesco is an Investment lead for our social impact partnership with Food for Soul and Medecins Sans Frontieres, two charity partners with the Permira Foundation. Prior to joining Permira, Francesco worked in the private equity group at Bain Capital and before that he was part of M&A team at UBS in both Milan and London. He has a degree in Business Administration from Bocconi University, Italy.
Dalila Dolci is a Vice President on the Carlyle Europe Partners investment advisory team. She is based in Milan.She currently serves on the Board of Flos B&B Italia Group (former Design Holding) and Dainese. She previously served on the Board of Irca and END., and has been part of the deal team that supported Carlyle's investment in Golden Goose. Prior to joining Carlyle in 2018, Mrs. Dolci was an Associate with McKinsey & Company in Milan. She received an MBA from Harvard Business School, a MSc in Finance from Bocconi University summa cum laude and a Bachelors in Business Administration and Management from Bocconi University summa cum laude.
Giovanni has more than 25 years M&A experience primarily performed for large international corporates and private equity houses. He is graduated in Business Administration from Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Milan and he is fluent in Italian (mother tongue), English and French. His main areas of expertise include financial and vendor due diligence, pre-deal analyses and post-deal integration, carve-outs, value creation analyses. His main industry focus is on Healthcare & Pharma, Business Services, Industrial Products and Retail and Consumer.
Roberto Segantin joined Ethica Group as Partner of Ethica Advisory and was appointed CEO of Ethica NextInfra Advisory in 2025. He boasts extensive experience in M&A and Investment Banking, with a focus on energy transition, transportation, digital, and social infrastructure. Before joining Ethica, he held senior positions at Santander Corporate & Investment Banking in Italy, serving as Managing Director, responsible for M&A activities and coverage of private equity funds, leading high-profile transactions at both national and international levels. He also gained experience at Société Générale, Banca IMI, and Accenture, working on complex financial transactions and strategic advisory. In 2024, he was included in the list of the Top 50 Finance Professionals in Italy compiled by Financecommunity.it for MAG. Roberto holds a MSc in Finance from Bocconi University.
Luca assists Italian and foreign clients with corporate-M&A matters, and in particular with extraordinary transactions and matters relating to company law and business contracts, with a focus on deals involving strategic-industrial investors and private equity funds, and also in relation to listed companies operating in supervised or regulated sectors. Co-Head of the Private M&A Practice Area, member of the International Practice Area, and head of the London office from 2018 to 2024, Luca has, in particular, developed a solid experience in cross-border corporate and M&A transactions, both inbound and outbound on the Italian market, which require an integrated and multidisciplinary expertise, assisting mainly foreign clients or Italian groups with a multinational dimension. Luca has gained a specific experience for manufacturing, aerospace, and defence businesses, and more generally in relation to investments made by private equity players. He is also one of the coordinators of the firm’s activities in the automotive sector. Luca is recognized as a leading lawyer in leading international guides, is a member of various committees and conference co-chairs of the International Bar Association, a past Director and member of theExecutive Committee of Lex Mundi and a member of theInstitutional Group of the European Network.
Piero joined BC Partners in 2019. He is a Director in the Private Equity team based in London. Previously, Piero worked at McKinsey & Company in Italy. Prior to this, he helped to launch logistics start-up Entrego in the Philippines, where he was Head of Sales and Business Development. He holds an MBA from Columbia Business School; a MSc in Management with distinction from London School of Economics and aBS in Aerospace Engineering – cum laude from Sapienza University of Rome.
Pietro Labriola is Chief Executive Officer and General Manager TIM. Confirmed at the top of the Group for the second consecutive term, since April 2024 he is also a member of the Sustainability Committee.
He is a member of the board of GSMA and a member of the General Council of Confindustria where, since May 2024, he has the mandate for the Digital Transition. He is also President of Asstel and TIM representative in the General Council of Aspen Institute Italia, as well as a member of the Board of Directors of the European Institute of Oncology and of the High Council of the SPES Academy. In August 2025, he was co-opted as a non-executive director on the Natuzzi board. In the TIM Group since 2001, he held increasingly senior roles in the field of Marketing for the corporate and consumer segments of fixed and mobile telephony services. Before joining the TIM Group, since 1996 Labriola worked in Infostrada, at first as Head of Business Development and then as Marketing Director, and previously held positions in Boston Consulting Group, Cable & Wireless and France Telecom.
Pietro Labriola has a degree in Economics and Commerce from the University of Bari and a Master in Management of Innovation and Technologies from Tecnopolis, Scientific and Technological Park of Bari.
