Advent International

• Advent International is one of the largest and longest serving independent private equity partnerships. Since our founding in 1984, we have invested $66 billion in over 395 private equity investments across 41 countries. 
• In May 2022 Advent International raised $25 billion for 10th global private equity fund 
• The Fund reached its hard cap of $25 billion (€22.1 billion) in commitments after less than six months in the market.
• GPE X is Advent’s largest ever fundraise and brought assets under management to over $100bn at the time of the announcement. 
• New Fund is more than 40% larger than Advent’s previous Global Private Equity (GPE) fund, GPE IX, which raised $17.5 billion in 2019. 
• The fundraise demonstrates confidence in Advent’s long-established and highly effective strategy of investment, focused on specific sectors and operational improvement. 
• GPE X follows the $4 billion raised by Advent Tech II, Advent’s second dedicated technology fund, in 2021.

Inflexion

Buyout Fund VI was the latest standout fundraising success for Inflexion. At the £2.5bn hardcap, the Fund was double the size of the previous vintage and was successfully raised in less than a year. Buyout Fund VI benefitted from significant support from existing LPs, with over 100% re-up rate by capital and tickets being on average 60% larger than their previous fund commitment. The Fund also attracted strong support from new LPs with ~20 new investors, including sovereign wealth funds, public pension plans and large insurers. Inflexion completed a first close end of June 2021, two months after launch, with the final close in February 2022. The Fund is now 22% committed, only five months into its investment period.
